I was on the ship too that night. We heard the man overboard call after walking past the lego display on deck 18 and were at the back of the ship out on deck when the cruise director gave the second message. No news on what happened in the morning but we saw the police on board as we were waiting to disembark so we knew it probably wasn't going to good news. Saw the news online as we were driving home. So sad.

Yeah, that next morning when the captain gave an announcement without any mention of the man overboard alarm, I knew it was likely because the outcome was not good. Whenever they can share good news they usually do. Sad story.
