There is a very distinct difference between captain Brittan and characters like crystal meph and skrull ect. The dd characters had a clear pathway to obtaining them eventually. Captain Brittain will have no clear path to get after he’s vaulted. It could be he goes into bumps and a store or node, maybe they just run his showcase again or maybe a battle pass. Or you can be just SOL for the next year

Unfortunately, spending 2x50 bucks and many power cores doesn't guarantee you unlock Captain Brexit. And if we do that, it will send a wrong message to Scopely. I'm thinking of leaving the game not because of that but because of the lack of new content for months. Captain Brexit will be the icing on the cake. But you're absolutely right, he will be like Mephisto: most of the players won't see him for a long time.

Scopely/ Boundless are being pressured to produce more money especially since they were bought by the saudis. Honestly, msf thrived during the early to mid pandemic because we were all stuck at home and working from home. Now in mid 2024, life is back to normal and the playerbase has grown but people are hurting economically and mobile games aren’t a priority for 99.99% of the people. That’s the truth. It’s even mentioned in the video, real life stuff is hard and costly

Hey Duarktik! I have almost 30k cores saved, will it be possible to unlock CB? Should I core BP Shuri to 4 stars and wait for her event or try to get 5 stars right away?

i wld say it is not really possible. you will need hank pym to 5 stars also. We all know that drop rates on orbs are pretty shyt, and calculating via minimum drop rates (6 shards) per orb is a more realistic parameter, rather than using the average drop rates. At 6 shards per drop, you will need to open 310 (5*star)/6 = 51 - 52 orbs. That is already a minimum 52*675 = 35,100 cores for 1 character up to 5 stars. Of course, you may get lucky with some awesome drops like 20 or 80 shards, but as a MSF player, we all know that luck is not always on our side lol.

I think the difference between quitting over Mephisto vs Captain Britain is that CB is a vaulted unlock and Mephisto is always there waiting for you. We don't know when the CB unlock will come back and if it will still be paywalled on the 2nd round. But yeah you're definitely right that Boundless is trying to meet investor demands. They are obviously not satisfied with how much people normally spend. I honestly believe this release could make or break the game. Hopefully they at least give us more information about the CB unlock event frequency, and the requirements for the future legendary (although can we even trust what they say? looking at Cabal being a requirement for OML).

I started 6 months ago, and up until OML I was spending more each month. OML left a bad taste in my mouth, so I slowed down my spending to 80-100 a month. CB's announcement took the remaining wind out of my sails, and I'm likely done with spending, and this game. Instead of buying my weekly stuff in MSF I bought Mario Wonder for my switch. Much better use of money. So they took someone that was spending 100s upon 100s, and turned him off completely. I'm a pretty new player and if this is how I'm feeling, I imagine a lot of others likely feel the same. If this was their plan to get us to spend more, they're idiots. When I have fun in this game, I spend more. It's as simple as that, and they've slowly removed the fun from basically every game mode. Building a war defense team I dislike just so I can get t4s, took the offensive boost out of war to make it a slog, Arena has been dead since OMLs release, and CC has been bad and its going to get worse now with this CB nonsense. If I knew they were going to do this I would of never started playing.

I think with the whole economic situation everyone is hurting and it's starting to show up in game purchases. When this starts showing up in the stock market, whales are going to be like endangered species.... nowhere to be found.

@@DuArkTikMSFHQ They own like 5 of the top grossing mobile games lol. MSF is the #2 highest grossing RPG on the play store, and most people buy stuff from the web store, plus the apple store. This game is highly profitable, especially when you think about how little effort they put into new content. It's just greed.

If battle world isn’t the new best game mode they shouldn’t release it. If the next game mode is garbage then there will never be another good game mode. If they wasted all this time developing something that isn’t undeniably amazing then it’s over.

Recommendation: try making a video where you don't trash other content creators. You are a smart player and could be better if you quit trashing others. That is petty and makes you sound insecure. All the envoys and content creators trashed this decision by scopely for the release so for this video you have to blame a content creator for something that is not his fault. Several "bad decisions" scopely made came from envoys who are too impulsive to keep their mouth shut and I didnt trash him, he was the one who trashed the devs whenever he fails and rages. Dont be such a fanboy if it makes you to compromise the truth of the matter

Porky is a schmuck as are most of the Envoys and many CCs. Personally I find Duarktik's honesty refreshing in comparison to the years of endless decrees that Scopley has screwed up and is killing the game.

Copy paste 3: Once Scopley killed off the f2p player's the game is as good as dead. Point. Once f2p player's are gone it's just a question of time "dolphins-whales-krakens" will quit too. You can only pay to win if there is someone you can win against. Otherwise :wallet wars. Enjoy. So under the line what is Scopley looking for? I think it has less to do with "cash grab" and more to scopely giving free "I win" cards to the whales. Every time a whale loses vs a f2p guy the tantrum is of the charts.

The "Players Voice" is a bunch of show offs. And Scopley gives a damn of any of em. The envoy's now realise that they count :nothing. They getting used by Scopley. Point. It's all up to scopley AND the customers/player's. How much is someone willing to spend for what? Fun? Showing off? The only thing that "saves" MSF FOR NOW are the Alliances. Scopley will try to milk as much as possible. Question is as said: Is MSF a grab and run or a game planned to be continued. Drama means nothing. Kits of some toons in a handy game mean nothing. Balanced game means as it looks for now for scopley :nothing. For the MAJORITY of players it's: fun or bye bye. There are tons of other entertainment. Btw. If you feel forced to spend :Quit. If you spend 200- 300-400 dollars a month: quit and look for a psychiatrist you have gambling problems. Btw. I'm free to play aka the plankton whales are after if I'm gone they will starve to death. On the other hand if I grow too much I will poison the water and no income of fresh air 💵.... Balance the game make it fair and fun or die. Simple as that.
