Thanks for sharing! As an old Piper guy I love the feel you get in that plane. I like flying from Palms Springs to John Wayne as I used to be stationed at MCAS Tustin which gives a great reference on final. Thanks again and I gave you a sub

Thank you so much. It is greatly appreciated. There seems to be a lack of good quality GA KZbin channels for MSFS so I am hoping I can help to fill that gap in some small way.

@@SimPilot2450 you're welcome and I agree on the GA KZbin channels being few and far between. Some folks are good with the flight sim hardware while others focus on the big stuff and military I was raised in a GA environment as my Dad and Grandad were Piper owners.

I was raised in a GA environment too. My dad built a Meyers Little Toot bi-plane completely from scratch at our house in the sixties. It is the smiling baby blue biplane you see at the start of my videos. He flew it to Oshkosh (Rockford back then) and won best homebuilt. He flew commercially so I have been around aviation since I was born. He helped me in restoring my 1948 Cessna 140. I bought it as a basket case and totally restored it. It is the C140 you see at the start/end of my videos. N2450V. That is where I get SimPilot 2450 from. I like to fly the airliners in the sim every once in a while but it seems you takeoff and then hit the autopilot and then you are a passenger. Since there were a million different channels focusing on the big stuff I figured I would try to offer a GA channel that could be fun and useful to all aviation enthusiast. I really try to encourage everyone to hand fly takeoffs, climbs, descents, and landings as much as possible. It brings the sim experience to a whole other level and it is really the only way to hone your flying skills.

@@SimPilot2450 I agree that for me flying the big stuff is a procedural, button pushing and knob twisting exercise. I was just having a similar discussion with my wife and boils down to me being a stick and rudder guy. One of the first things I did when I got the new Comanche was to learn the autopilot. I’ve used it twice now… The plane trims out so well, hand flying it is a dream come true. My Grandfather had a new 1968 Cherokee Six 300 and the guy who taught him how to fly it had an old Champ which gave me the bug. My Dad had a 235 he bought off the side of a mountain and I took my first lesson in a Cessna 150 in Chester Connecticut. Then I had a ground MOS in the Corps and a heart issue that kept me grounded until the new LSA rules so I fly on my drivers license now. With the new MOSAIC rules I might be looking for a Cherokee in the future. I like flying piston GA aircraft and quality counts. One of my favorite flights is from Innsbruck south through the Brenner Pass. Fly the Comanche, trim it then hand fly it low through the pass. I like watching your vids, keep up the good work

Happy Skys!!! Isn't aviation the best. I'll have to check out the Innsbruck flight. I haven't flown in Europe for a bit so I guess it's time.
