Garmin is a hardware company that also makes software. That almost always results in overly complex and convoluted user interactions. This device is a UI abomination. It doesn't even try to be based on a small number of basic interaction rules. We are just forced to learn everything by heart.

Just one question, what do I have to do in MSFS2024 career mode, if I want to do all that flight planning myself, and have no ATC shout a thousand weird commands at me? Can I shut off the ATC flight plan from the EFB before starting the mission, or can I just ignore it ingame?

I cannot get the right knob button press function to work. When I bring up the flight plan page I’m unable to activate the fields on it like in the example here. Why is that?

Thanks for the video. in career mode I have this issue that the G1000 sometimes simply turns off for no apparent reason while flying the C172, and if this happens, there seems to be no way to turn it on again.... Anyone know what I might be doing wrong? Or is it a bug?

I don't get it, I'm unable to push the buttons, neither left - or right-click works to select. Also not able to edit the fields in the system settings (probably covered in the next advanced video) I hope working title will upgrade and fix it soon.

That is a problem with the in game electrical of the plane. The devs are working on a fix.
