Set rudder trim to 6 deg right for take off. Standard P51 , makes take off much easier.

@@gafalcon7 Did you set the rudder rim ? You may still need some right rudder to hold it straight.

So I set it to 6 degrees on the rudder trim and than use some right rudder on take-off just keep it straight?

Great video! Thanks - I’ve only just come across your channel but you provide excellent reviews. What’s your opinion of this versus the Milviz Corsair?

Thank you. Personally, I prefer the Corsair. That's mainly because the Corsair's sounds are much better especially the engine sounds, and the systems are better. The P-51 lacks engine damage and things like that. But either way I enjoy both of them. It's difficult not to like a P-51. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

Thanks for the Vid, i held off getting this due to the sounds, however I have since got it, but even when the wind is 0 and the rudder trim set to 6 degrees nose right, the aircraft still pulls hard left, im full right rudder and nothing happens, then all of a sudden my rudder kicks in and yaws me all the way to the right then back the other way, it's a bit ridiculous really

Hi, how do I set the external view and put it back in the cockpit? The camera circling the warbird is cool. What's the name of this camera choice?

The external, cockpit and showcase cameras are in the toolbar menu at the top of the screen. I use the drone camera in the showcase tab to circle the plane.

It's not a preset camera that will rotate automatically. I use an Xbox controller to control the drone camera and keep it centered on the plane, but this isn't practical while flying unless it's on autopilot. There are unused keybinds in the game options, but I never had much success getting them to behave the way I wanted them to. So, I just went back to using the Xbox controller. There may be a way to get the camera to focus on the plane and rotate at the same time, but I haven't figured out how to do that or if it's even possible.

Engine and supercharger systems are not modeled very good. Feels like its missing the regulator. The mixture control behaves like a cessna. There are no detents.
