MSFS: Head or Eye Tracking? How about neither?

This video is not meant to be prescriptive. It's merely an example of how views can be created and selected as a device to encourage consideration of solutions that are custom to you. Head or eye tracking has its own advantages, but also its own disadvantages, whether price or convenience.
A note on other sims. You can almost certainly do the same thing with X-Plane. With regard to combat sims like BMS or DCS, head or eye tracking is much more useful in air combat situations.

The thing that keeps me more interested in X-Plane is that I got used to X-Camera as an add-on.

It's a while since I last used X-Camera, but I can set views as required very similarly in both X-Plane 12 and MSFS. I wouldn't go back to X-Camera now. The only issue with X-Plane is that control naming can be quite obscure.
