Drawback of PSXT and real-time trafic is that it does not appear under TCAS radar of airplanes as not considered as Ai Trafic vs FSLTL which does appear in TCAS. Plus frame rate impact found to be higher with PSXT vs FSLTL using only FSLTL models.

That only holds for the Fenix A320 (they will fix that within a few months). In all other user flyable aircrfat in P3D and MSFS they do show at the TCAS (PMDG's Boeings included).

I installed the PSXT and Realtraffic, thats worked well some days, but now there's no traffic on the airports, just the outside of airports. The parking airplanes are not changing, i tried reinstall too, but there's no any change. No taxi, no take off and not any movement in the airports. What is the problem?

The installation does not work for me. I have the MSFS via Steam and the liveries from FSLTL in the normal community folder. When I change the path and press Enter, the input immediately disappears again😒

I really do enjoy your videos. It seems in order to get out of this sim what was initially told to us would already be in the sim is becoming more expensive as time goes on. Quite frankly imo, unless flying IRL, no-one really needs this level of accuracy. The whole idea is to create an plausable atmosphere. I think we've achieved that with FSLTL. To have to pay for that...I'll pass. Stay well.

It is the most accurate so far. Though I’m not sure how to adjust traffic density. I assume be default it spawns every aircraft from real life. Landing in SFO earlier was insane. Speaking of. When I did land, I initially saw no traffic at the gates etc. only once I slowed below about 80kts, did they all appear. Not sure if that’s a bug?

Hi, You can limit the live traffic by lowering the lateral range. You can limit the parked static+live aircraft with the parking percentage per airport. If you set your destination airport in the GUI, PSXT will generate traffic at your destinatiion starting when you are in range of your dest (say at 25nm), then you will see traffic at you airport while landing , otherwise it will start doing that after you have landed (like you have noticed) . There is also an option that PSXT picks your destination from your flight plan automatically. PSXT runs for 7 years now, starting with FSX and P3D, hence it is mature. AIG is free as well. It has a traffic injector just like fstl. You can also use realtime traffic with AIG or FSTL. I tried fstl but went back to aig becuase aig has way more liveries.

Yes but you cannot compare FSLTL and PSXT. PSXT is real live traffic, FSLTL is not.

I already use PSXT and Realtraffic with AIG models. Are FSLTL models better with respect to range of models/liveries and performance in MSFS?

The AIG package has 6400 liveries, FSLTL 2007. Some FSLTL liveries are not in AIG, so see it as a usefull addition. However, this video is more meant for users not having AI aircraft installed at all, so they can have a quick start (installing AIG aircraft takes a lot of time).

​@@casmaniandevil1432 no special setup needed. PSXT will find both packages automatically. It will proritize AIG liveries over FSLTL because it knows about 12000 tailnumbers that map on the right AIG livery. If for a certain airline plus type both packages would have a livery without a tail number (registration code). It will close one randomly. The livery matching of PSXT is very advances, I have worked 7 years on it ;-)

@@swiss777 If you do not mind, fine no problem with me. But in PSXT+RT aircraft are always at the same position as the real live aircraft (every second)! In FSLTL it may happen that aircraft take off from the wrong runway or land at the wrong runway. They also do not go-around if the real aircraft goes around, same for diversions. If real live aircraft are vectored to the runway, you will see that in PSXT+RT exactly. The landing queues in PSXT are just like in real live, giving real immersion. Due to the fact that FSLTL aircraft are controlled by the MSFS AI engine they suffer from all the problems Asobo has with AI aircraft, such as piling up, not taking off and so on. Furthermore, the matching of liveries in PSXT is far more advanced then what the FSLTL injector does.

The answer is quite simple, Real Traffic (Balthasar) has to pay for the real time traffic data he gets from data providers. That data is not free you know, FlightRadar also charges for real time data. FSLTL does not use real time data.
