In this video we take an in-depth look at the PMA50 GTN750 addon for MSFS. If you like flying GA airplanes than this addon is the perfect complement to give new life to older aircraft. We put the GTN through is paces on s flight from Palm Springs (KPSP) to Burbank (KBUR) California. We try to cover most of the features of the GTN750 including a departure to an arrival with an RNAV approach to a missed approach followed by an ILS. Thanks for this upload. Explained well and detailed. The GTN 750 is my favorite addon and I even use with the G3000 from the pulldown menu. Also, the map now has an autozoom feature.

Greetings. I started watching you when you flew the DA62 around the world and I learned a lot of cool things watching you. Thank you very much. I see a developer called COWS is working to release a DA42 hopefully before years end. There are some Beta tester YT videos which look very intriguing. I think I will buy it on Day one of the release. Meanwhile, I wanted to ask you a question sir. I recall you were out towards Asia and were about to make a long trip over water. You used a software tool to help you plan the flight and I don't recall which one it was. But what struck my fancy was you were looking at the winds at different heights and you used it to your advantage to altar you plan somewhat giving you more of a tailwind thus increasing your range by several NM. That's a weakness in my flight planning trying to calculate the amount of fuel I will need to cross the Oceans and making sure I have a plane with enough range to make it happen. Yesterday I encountered 50 KTS headwinds flying west across the Atlantic and landed with only 12 gal of fuel left on board. It was quite nerving and I was leaned to the hilt. If you could help me remember the tool or flight planning took you used, that wold be very useful. Appreciate it and all the good videos you do. You explain things so well, that sometimes I can just sit on my rider mower and listen to you give directions and visualize it in my mind such as I did this video a few days ago.

It is really shocking to me how much easier this device makes flying, lol. Last time I flew was the 90s and the pile of crap I had to carry around with me to do what this device can do was crazy. Now finding a LOC approach is the most difficult part, lol. The ONLY disappointing part of this mod was to get charts for a video game is $10 month. They should give us a way to use our own pdf charts instead of forcing that ridiculous service Navigraph onto us. Ended up using FSkneeboard for it, though later I figured out Lil Navmap can do it free. That and trying to grab that scrollbar, lol.

It is a great product. Yes, Navigraph is expensive but I use them on every flight. I did a review of the TDS GTN750 and they include charts for US and Canada although they are not the most current.

Hello, download the cessna 414, I have the Garmin 750 version of PMS50 v 2.2.4, but I don't see how to add it to the cokpit screen, it only leaves it at the top of the menu list, is there a way to adapt it, since There is no compatibility package, how did you do it?

You have to choose a livery for the PMS 750 under the livery tab for aircraft settings. There are different livery’s for each configuration GPS.

On the PMS 50 i don’t know what i am doing wrong but i can’t activate the missed approach. The clicking spot is gray. I don’t see any waypoint to go around. Have an indea?

I just did a flight to try it out. I selected GA, go around, and at the runway waypoint the gps went into suspend mode. I select UnSusp at the bottom of the GPS and then I’m able to reselect NAV on the autopilot to fly the missed approach track.

I have go around mapped to a button on my Honeycomb Bravo throttle. Just look search for TO_GA under controls.

The only thing I can think of is that you selected the wrong livery. The liveries are specific to the type of GPS

When you select the aircraft, under liveries, you have different selections based on which GPS setup you wish to use.
