Fantastic review as always, you really set the standard! I already picked up this airport and really enjoy it. The dark interiors (same as they did in Auckland) is a head scratcher for me but still looks good from the plane.

As a regular user of this airport I agree it's a great model. Tiny thing like red chevrons on the roundabout at 14:00 are wrong for NZ. Also be nice if they modelled the under-runway foot/cycle tunnel for extra atmosphere :) And of course the wter never looks like that in Wellington!!!!

Thank you once again for a great review. Pity about the insides being so dark. After looking Brussels airport, the thing that really brings it to life are the people. It’s something missing in so many good airports like this. I agree a bit of blurry roof l will never see doesn’t seem to me to be an issue. Whilst l know it is a personal opinion, honestly would prefer to see 3rd party developers adding people sitting in the chairs or standing or walking at the gate you are parked at, and reduce some of the attention to areas of the airport that realistically 99% of us will never look at when flying in the sim. A once off development by 3rd party developers of passengers that they can then use at all airports they develop in the future (as people are not really specific to any airport) seems Iike a no brainer.

Thanks very much for doing this review and the Brussels one. I really like this Wellington scenery for its combination of realistic details in a compact space that still caters for bizjets, airliners and a bit of GA all at once. The location, surrounds and runway textures make for a particularly stunning approach. I agree that the interiors could be better lit, and some people would be nice. Looking forward to the VDGS. Did you see the "Hollywood"--style Wellington sign at the northeastern end past the runway?

I do! I have a desktop microphone now rather than using a headset one. I sound more like me I think!

@@FilbertFlies good decision, for flying with friends i still used a "closed" headphone set and when i listen to the recordings it seems like i am yelling like a madman, because i simply can't hear myself talking with those things :D
