Dunno why they have to make the original control tower so dark. Was wondering if you were going to show the LAX Gateway Kinetic Light Pylons and whether they alternated their colors. I did notice in your pans near the end that colors were changing, so this is indeed showing great attention on Inibuilds' part. The rail system is moving along quite well. Thanks for this detailed viewing.

If I were EXTREMELY nitpicking, id say the font for the text for some of the informational signs within the terminals seems off. As far as I know, LAX uses a Arial/Helvetica-ish sans serif font for their signage. But forget what I just said. inibuilds did an outstanding job with this. Can't wait to fly into this in the future.

Great review as always, I've missed them! Looks like they learnt a lot from their initial Heathrow release, will definitely get this one! Modelling, ground textures, interior etc looks fantastic! Personally I would've loved to see some people by the gates at least, but it might be a restriction for performance reasons given the size of the airport. Only other nitpicking is the parts with opaque window textures, they never look good, even less so by night. Wish they would have used parallax there too!

Great review, thanks for that. This KLAX airport looks quite good and has a lot more detail in it than the Premium Deluxe version that came out with MSFS at launch. I take it it reflects the current airport and taxi way layout, as the Asobo one seems to have used a slightly older layout for theirs. As for the those remote gates at 08:15 ......Munich airport has a few gates similiar to those on the Terminal 1 apron. It basically is an upgrade from traditional remote gates and allows passengers to board via a jetway and queue protected from the weather as opposed to queueing on the open apron up some stairs. Bit of a "deluxe" remote stand experience 😀

It's great to see another airport review from you, Filbert, even it if ends up with my spending money on the scenery! This airport looks like a masterpiece; the sheer amount of work that must have gone into it is mind-blowing! It will be a perfect hub for their upcoming A310. I agree with you about the blurry textures around the main terminals being an acceptable compromise regarding frame rates. (TBH, I wasn't going to talk to you again since one of my teenage daughters wrote to you about varying assumptions she and I had regarding your logo, and you told her that she was correct! 😉 However, I have to forgive anyone who manages to fit the word 'radii' into a review. Pure class!)

Absolutely stunning scenery! if there's one thing I would say is missing altho maybe its done due to performance is passengers in the interior to give it some more life, if im not mistaken they added this to EGLL so it would be nice to see here swell but again, with a already stunning amount of detail, performance is a limit

My first thought too. The fantastic interior detail just exaggerates the silent emptiness of it all. If hanging out in a terminal is becoming an option, devs are gonna have to include some life. Shouldn't be a frame issue since you would not likely be flying at the time. I could totally immerse myself in the virtual world of watching great AI from a nicely modeled, vibrant terminal

@@iniBuilds Understood, though I'd never suggest such a thing for an entire large airport, just maybe a configurable option at one terminal maybe? I don't know, you're the experts, but just going off past experiences with very complex feature rich airport sceneries with user options. Great work btw. Stunning achievement.

@@outermarker5801 if someone eventually spends the (probably months) time to make a GSX profile for LAX, one of the options does let you set up little groups of walking people inside the terminal. So that way we could get some walkers and only near the gate were using rather than over the entire airport.

Yeah, I mean rain looks the same everywhere, which is why I stopped doing that, and you're never going to see heavy snow in LAX.

You're right, it has similar ones, but I think they go underground and are connected somehow to the main terminal. These little boxes with jetways connected and buses to take you to the terminal are new to me - they seem not much better than just stairs!

They are. Some people with similar or better hardware get worse performance than me, and some people with worse hardware get better performance. I don't know why. MSFS is a mystery.

how does this work with FSLTL? Like how should we do the settings in FSLTL based on how this product puts aircraft all over the airport? not sure how to handle the two together and then throw in GSX and I can't imagine how to make them all get along and what the settings should be? anyone? I've not bought this airport yet due to my above comment on bluriness (until they get it figured out), but I'd like to write down all the appropriate settings that will be required so i can create an excel spreadsheet of all the settings.

what is your framerate like at this location? I have a 5800X3D and RTX 3080 and it is unplayable for me. even just sitting in the cockpit and not looking at the scenery my fps tanks to almost unplayable levels. under 30

All the negatives you mention, I immediately think frame rates. All the areas that you would expect the textures to be of high quality (like the gates, ramps, taxiways, and runways) are there, and this is all I ask for. So you are right to point out the areas of lesser quality as you are making a video of the airport good and bad, but for me there is no downside. iniBuilds are rockstars in my eyes. Thank you so much iniBuilds for pooling your efforts into MSFS. I cannot thank you enough.

Term 1/Southwest Airlines terminal looks kind of terrible. Looks like they blew their wad on TBIT. Inibuilds is inconsistent and to me is mid tier. When they first released EGLL it was not very good. Also why 10GB? How can FlyTampa do better sceneries with 1/3 the disk space.
