X Plane 11/12 for me in terms of realistic physics and gyro effects on the plane. MSFS just have outstanding sceneries that's all. But I just wish PMDG would support X Plane platforms, because PMDG is the most realistic and well engineered Boeing simulator software you can buy in the market.

Zibo is actually much better than pmdg. I've been using the pmdg since fsx days, and it was great when it was released, but it hasn't had much in terms of updates in almost a decade.

What a cool X-plane shot! X-plane has these few things it does so well graphically. The overall lighting, how objects are being rendered and the materials on aircraft. Just feels real when looking at the static aircraft etc. . That is sadly being overshadowed by the other shortcomings of their graphics engine. The AA is terrible, the lighting may feel more realistic, it isn't up to MSFS level, trees only work from a close up or on the ground, clouds, ground textures. Both sims can look great and amazing, but MSFS is overall the winner. One is built to be good in specific areas, you need to work in order for it to look good, where the other is able to look good everywhere and absolutely amazing in some areas.

I did use the same angle for MSFS2020 but the replay does not want to work properly and just keeps breaking the plane. that's why I did not go and use the same angle.

Typical behaviour of those who like to make comparison videos. Reminds me when MSFS was released, within 2 days of it being released people were comparing it to a heavily modded XP11 - when the shoe is on the other foot, like when XP12 released and it shown that MSFS was better.. the XP community say "give it some time"... well, what a coincidence! Now all comparisons are made with some sort of handicap in XPlanes favour

I like both but MSFS is clearly a clean shot win! Xplane looks like the aircraft is sliding on grease when maneuvering on the ground. Plane always turns dramatically. But they both are dope in my opinion but MSFS comes out on top. Xp12 needs satellite maps with Google or something because it’s just not going to work. Get a contract with Google or something because you’ll never be competitive enough for MSFS with this image.

@@Aymen_A Agreed. But I do like both. MSFS update on G Force is now glitching so it keeps shutting down and keeps saying my gpu is overheating and overclocking. Which isn’t true. It’s an error in the bug I guess but xp12 works fine. So they pushed me to xp12 for now until this get fixed but I do miss MSFS…. But now this all happened got to experience xp12. And yes they both have their ups and downs for sure.

I've played both X-Plane and msfs. The latter is now my main sim. People who act like msfs is a game are diehard fans butthurt xplane is losing steam. While the sim has its shortcomings it is defonfoely not arcade like. Not because idiot youtubers wanna turn off all realism and do foolishness you say that. The physics engine needs improvement amd hopefully 2024 will dleover just that. However this thing people do saying xplane so much better for flying and msfs i just do for whatever are the butthurt fans. Both sims are great but msfs will eventually represent future flight simming. The flight model is catching up! So stay butthurt i guess🤷🏽‍♂️

Don't let this ruin your fun but it's not a matter of what's better or worse. People prioritize what they want from their sim and both offer something the other doesn't. The problem lies where people deny there isn't a arcade ish feel to airplanes both on the ground, takeoffs and landings. Even 737ngdriver (irl pilot) says the cfd model is a joke (can't hold speeds, trims settings, no change in pitch with different power settings etc..). You know that means something especially when he mainly uses msfs and works on the pmdg team as a tester. Adding more and more points to the model isn't doing much in terms of what the sim have been lacking ever since fsx (the actual feel of the plane, trim staying where you left it, planes wanting to settle down when cutting the thrust on landings and the biggest flaw the rudder). Msfs 2024 is sketchy becuase it's marketed more as a "game" with missions than msfs did. For xbox users, but i could be suprised.

I don't think one is better than any other as they serve two different purposes. Visuals are better with Microsoft, but flight Dynamics are better with the other simulator. I know none of the AMD hardware works well with the Microsoft.

@@charlie7mason None of AMD's hardware favors Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. You want top-notch performance you have to go Intel and Nivida. AMD has nothing that matches performance as their driver support is horrific when it comes to the simulator.

@@jamesm568 I have a full AMD build, R7 5800X with 6900XT and seem to run it just fine. The only advantage I'd see would be frame generation on Nvidia 4000 series cards. Driver support hasn't been bad on AMD for a few years now. Are you sure you aren't just running on dated information?

@@charlie7mason I have a RX 6900 XT as I went to the 3090FE because of the better 4K performance. I don't compromise my settings as I stay in ultra-performance period. The simulator just don't favor AMD hardware.

I run my game maxed as well and the only place I get sub 50 or 40 FPS is high detailed payware airports like iniBuilds KLAX or EGLL while running payware airliners like the Fenix A320. Although, in the interest of maintaining completely smooth camera movement while on the ground, I lower my Terrain detail level to 355 (no particular reason for the odd number). 275 gets rid of any hitches. Don't even need any of that once airborne.

Everyone has their opinion. To me, X-Plane won this display. It looks more realistic graphically. MSFS looks more like a cartoon. I have both sims and struggle with MSFS's terrible runways and taxiways. With MSFS, all other graphical aspects are spectacular except airport ground textures and markings. They are just atrocious. But XP has atrocious turbulence and hideous antialiasing issues. These issues drive me nuts regarding both sims.
