MSFS2024: Wait to hear this before you buy the Premium Deluxe version

Petite video mais grosse surprise, je dirai même excellente surprise pour moi. Vous avez tous vu les images et la liste des avions qui seront disponibles dans la version premium deluxe. Un pack assez impressionnant puisqu'il contient 95 appareils et 160 aéroports qu'on qualifierai de "détaillés". Un excellent deal pour environ 130 dollars, 140 euros. Mais il y a un changement. Avant avec MSFS2020 si vous vouliez le Boeing 787 dreamliner, vous étiez obligé d'acheter le pack premium deluxe et tous les avions du pack. Et bien ce n'est plus le même cas avec MSFS2024. En effet Jorg Neumann l'a confirmé une nouvelle fois hier durant le dev stream
Vous avez bien entendu. Si un seul avion vous intéresse, vous pourrez l'acheter en dehors du pack premium deluxe. Si par exemple il n'y a que le nouveau C17 développer par Miltech Simulations ou que le Boeing 787 (et oui regardez il est encore dans le pack premium de MSFS2024) et bien vous pourrez acheter uniquement l'avion qui vous intéresse.
ça paraît vraiment tout bête, mais c'est une excellente idée d'offrir cette possibilité et c'est quelque chose que beaucoup beaucoup de simmers attendaient, dites moi dans les commentaires si vous en faites parti ! Pour modérer cette information on ne connaît pas encore le prix de chaque avion individuellement et probablement qu'il sera plus avantageux d'acheter le pack que 3 avions, mais pour un seul, ça sera la meilleure solution. Je vous dis à bientôt, et oui vous allez voir ma tronche beaucoup plus souvent sur la chaîne :P Tchao.

Important to mention. If you already have the premium edition for 2020 you will own those aircraft in 2024 so if you have the 787 on 2020 you will have it on 2024 with no extra cost. So BE careful when buying.

I know we will retain the 787 from msfs2020, but will we automatically get the new and improved version from msfs 2024 is my question. CaptKenobi says according to live stream the 2020 PD planes will be upgraded to 2024 versions. Great news.

Until we know the cost of the individual planes we cannot make an informed decision. I was planning on getting the PD edition because of the H225 heli, and to a lesser extent the cargo lifting heli (to extend mission capability in career).

I pre ordered the premium deluxe cuz it’s best to just go big or go home to where u can have more planes to fly and the really good ones to!! These solid looking aircrafts and I think they’re worth getting!! 95 and 160 airports total, it’s well worth it. It’s incredibly pricy but it’ll be well worth it in the end when launch day comes and you’ve got 95 aircrafts in your hangar to fly! It’s much better to get the best version than not having enough planes that are intriguing to get from the premium deluxe!

this is magnific, you can save a lot of money in this way. I really wanted the 787, but I thought I would have to spend a lot of money on the premium deluxe + the aircraft

It depends on the price. if the individual planes are still going to cost you $15-20, then you'll have to evaluate if it's worth getting the whole extra edition or buying individual planes, depending on how many you want, and if you'll want the others later on.

Fantastic news! I was only considering the Standard version, so I'm so glad we will not be locked out of buying aircraft from the premium editions. This was something I regretted when I bought the Standard edition of FS2020, as I wanted a non-glass cockpit version of the Cessna 172 but the one I wanted was locked away in the premium editions. I wonder if we will be able to do the same with airports?

I will buy PdL version anyway. 160 airports and if I only use 1 plane it is worth the extra money. I also want to support Flighttsimulator development.

The Aviator is absurd but I went with the Premium deluxe for the airports, even when I don't know if they are good. Kudos to Asobo, they've relaunched world flight simulation, they can grab my money.

Thank You for this information. I only want the 787 from the premium deluxe version. But I already own the 787 from the 2020 premium deluxe version. The question though, will I get the new and improved version of the 787 automatically without rebuying it? According to CaptKenobi the 787 will be upgraded.

I’m more interested in which handcrafted airports come with each edition of FS2024. Jorg kind of answered that question, but I’d be interested in seeing a definitive list.

I did the presale Premium Deluxe but cancelled because the plane that they release so you can fly in FS 2020 would not install. I'll wait until the release date.

The dev stream also confirmed it will be cross-platform, from Steam to Windows Store and vice versa. So the 10 extra planes from MSFS 2020 PD will show up in MSFS 2024 Standard edition.

The standard edition is sufficient enough I don’t know if I would even use all of the planes. The 737 max 8 and the cargo planes and the firefighter plane are already a big plus just to have.

Try request a refund man. Also if you already have premium edition on 2020 you will get those airplanes on 2024, so it will be better to get the standard and buy the the planes you don't own

There won't be any new airports in MSFS 2024. At least not at the start. The 150 airports are the ones that are carried over from 2020, updated for 2024. But you will still get them if you have 2020 Premium Deluxe and get 2024 standard. These airports include the ones that were released for the world updates

I have FS2020 premium deluxe so for example I have the Cirrus SR22 but if I buy the Standard FS2024, will I have the Cirrus SR22? Can I copy/paste the aircraft from FS2020 to FS2024?

yes you will have all Premium Deluxe planes from 2020 in 2024 (but not the new ones obviously)

Except the "Vision Jet" SF50, is free in the Standard edition and is currently the best addon in MSFS... if you like automated G3000 avionics. Devs are FlightFX, and it currently costs 30 bucks.

This is not teen, this is not five… Premium Deluxe Version will cost you 140€ max! And to be clear à large majority of these airplanes are really better than all MSCENERY! ABE

Of course they are better than msscenery . Most of the new plane are made by third party developers and will be high fidelity hopefully. Apparently most will have working circuit breakers

the 787 is not free - unless you're speaking of the one from flightsim.to But you'll be able to copy any plane you have in your 2020 community folder to the 2024. It's the same sim so it will be working but I guess not updated to the 2024 standard like the paid one.

Also, very important thing is the quality from those new aircrafts in 2024 are not guaranteed(we all know the quality of 787/ATR72/747), the number is not critical but the quality is. Hoping we will have more studio join MSFS2024, otherwise i want to join xplane12

Default 787 is pretty decent with all updates. Don’t forget that Working Title is making avionics now.
