I love all of the clutter that you'd see when people are moving in! It really makes it seem like the people who live in the house are slowly getting through their boxes and is so cute. The house design and furniture that's there is really cute as well!

Absolutely agree with you on the Doom Box. I've had a box that has followed me around through around 3 moves since 2016, until I finally got around to it a few months ago. Now I'm planning to move again, and I'm scared that a new one will appear!

This reminded me of why I never want to move again! lol. And yes i have a couple of boxes which every now again i take down from their place of being, glance inside and think 'I still have no idea what to do with these', and quickly put back.

I love this house and the concept! I can’t wait to place it in my game and decorate it! My favorite thing is to furnish houses and make interesting layouts, and so my exteriors tend to lack a bit. Downloading simmers’ builds always help me level up my style!

Love the realism and storytelling in this build! I bought my first home a few years ago, and I'm pretty sure there are a few boxes in closets that never got unpacked.

i love the almost ikea-esque furniture used in some of the rooms. Like the teen was able to build their own stuff and that’s why their room is the most furnished. I also think it’d be fun in the kid’s room to have used a sleeping bag and a lot of toys like their priority was unpacking their stuffed toys and dollhouse instead of properly setting up their room or something. But definitely getting vibes of a family who had an unexpected addition and needed more space than their current place and moved here! Might have to make that family and download this build for that!

I like that the teenagers room is more done since when I moved I focused entirely on my own room before other rooms. It was the only room unpacked for a while

This is a really cute idea. It would be fun to download this and finish setting it up. Maybe keep some stuff maybe change a few things which is pretty realistic when it comes to moving. Sometimes you get it all to the new place and decide you want to get rid of some of it and buy new. So this added a little more gameplay instead of just having it all set up. I like this idea maybe you could do some more like this

I HATE moving. I moved so often as a kid, I was at one point in more school buildings than grades. It's stressful indeed! But the build is super cute

I love this! It reminded me of the game Unpacking, which I LOVED and highly recommend if you've not played it already. That also gave me an idea I'd love to see you explore, which is an apartment for the same sim across various stages of their life - it could be a mini series, so the first video is everything in boxes and very bare bones, then in the next one they're a bit more settled and have made the space their own, then the next video is when their partner moves in and suddenly they need to find ways to accommodate all their stuff (and there could be nods to being in relationship throughout the apartment, like the "love day" cards on display), then maybe the next one they're either expecting their first child and everything is very cramped because they can't afford to upsize yet, or they've broken up and the main sim is either moving out or has taken up a new hobby to get over the heartbreak and that's taken over the whole space...So many options for storytelling through the same build!

So great! I did the same idea with a family moving into one of the San Myshuno apartments a few months ago and it was seriously the most fun I've had renovating an apartment, so I completely get how excited you were about doing this concept. 😄

I have never moved in my life, but my house often feels like this. I live with my parents and share the childhood bedroom with my sister (we're both in our 20's) - and *every single surface* is cluttered. There's just barely any space left, we literally have to bend and scoot in order to move around the living room due to unplanned furniture on every corner. There was a time my books were literally stacked behind the sofa and inside the shoerack. I'd love to see something even messier like that lol

I love this house, but there's so much pavement on the lot! I feel like attaching the garage to the house and moving it closer to the street would let the backyard be bigger with more grass and play space. Growing up my backyard was all concrete and driveways so we had to play in the woods by my house, which was definitely fun, but I know my mom would've preferred us to be in the yard where she knew we were safe

Just throwing this out there in case the idea interests you- I have an idea I can’t get out of my head of an apartment/multi-home lot where each place has a different pet(s)- cat, dog, fish, raccoon/fox, frogs, maybe farm animals, etc. and the whole complex is just very pet-friendly. So if you like the idea, I’d love to see you take a shot at it ! :)

I think one reason I don't add basements in the Sims 4 is because it's tricky to add windows and it doesn't look realistic. And a basement without windows feels very claustrophobic. If windows could be added more naturally, I might including basements more.
