27:59 If the smoke is hot, then yes, it'll rise. However, given that now *all* the air around you is smoke, and it's *ambient* temperature, due to the air having the smoke particulates, it'd sink, if anything.

Put good filters in your furnace and turn just the fan on to filter the air also.

Happy I have some Honeywell Air Purifiers, I live in Windsor (City in Canada; very close to Detroit) and one of my parents has quite a lot of health issue's, including COPD and Reactive Airway Disease, so last year I had bought some Air Purifiers, thank God i did. On the 6th the air was horrible! They were so damn expensive and the upkeep isn't cheap either but they are sooooooo worth it, couldn't live without one now.

2 months late but you should do a Corsi-Rosenthal Box instead of just a filter on the back, Corsi-Rosenthal Box set ups filter a lot more than just one filter on the back of one box filter

Had this smoke a few weeks ago in CO. It was bad. I have HEPA's because my lungs are bad, but I could not go out for long in it. You could smoke meat outside in it. Nordic Pure FTW.

OK, suck it up princess. Have you never had a wood fireplace or woodstove? Going a little far to deal with a little smoke smell. It's not like Canada hasn't had to deal with the pollution or smoke from fires in the US. We had smoke in Ontario were we live and surrvived by just keeing our windows and doors shut for a few days.
