gidge it took too long because they didn’t want to make it appear like a repeat of Bianca and Frankie. Also anti gay groups were all over abc’s case making sure they never explored any on screen same sex relationships. So many times abc caved. U can’t have a gay couple and not have them show affection and love. Kisses and hugs and love sex scenes. They finally saw the light (or used it as a golden ticket or had pro gay groups breathing down their necks just as hard as the anti ones to get Bianca and Lena to kiss on screen. That was a daytime first. I think today if this storyline were to take place, Bianca and Maggie would have gotten together a lot quicker. And I mean A LOT quicker.
