No need to peel the black film, all connectors are accessible under flaps.

Yeah, no need. Sheet is there to protect the conections on that side of the motherboard.

It's out the box performance is worth it. I own the laptop atm and it plays most if not all games I own at minimum 90fps with the stock 16gb ram it has. I've only added another 1tb m.2 and called it a day

Just wait until you need to repaste! 😆 Love my Delta, two months of good gaming, but I will be upgrading as soon as there are issues. I'd say in two years, depending on how you keep it cool and if you're aware of the thin design. By then, there will be better MSI laptops.

Thank you. I am so glad you went out of your way to explain things the way you did. You should consider making a more "entertaining" channel while having this at your core.

Looks a bit backwards from their normal easy to replace design. Wouldn't the sheet and flipping the mobo/heatsinks obstruct airflow?

Yes it does. Mine has overheating issues…along with the classic screen hinge issue🙄. Not getting another msi, the build quality is awful.

Had mine for two and a half months. Nothing wrong, but I'm curious to how one would go about repasting. Performs well and has no issues with heating, worst I seen was 88 c. But that was cause I was testing its gpu on max settings with a few games, great but not ideal. No need to play every game on max settings considering the thin design. Either build a desktop or find another brand if you dont like MSI. Steer clear from Alienware or Asus. Unless you want to microwave your internals. 😆
