@@kentkjrgaardjensen4304 yo. I never hear psu fan even in stress teats. Idk maybe your item is broken or what, mine is not loud at all, literally no sound. ( maybe some sound exists but its too quiet - my water cooling has more loud so i dont hear psu at all. )

u can try to open it and replace the fan with a quieter one, but the the psu only has 5v for the fan which is not enough for it to reach a higher rpm, so i suggest to connect the fan header to ur mobo instead whiles it being in the psu.

@@shunkanco opening the PSU voids the warranty + it can be dangerous if you don't know what you're doing

Yeah this doesn't have zero fan mode sadly. It's always going to be on.

Yeah that will be fine! You'd use around 800watts so 850 is good. I would not go any lower!

Good budget psu, but doesnt have zero fan mode. There are cheaper ones that do, like the Phanteks.

Hello. Thanks for the video. It was one of those that came closest to what I intended to know! I'm a newbie (it's my first PC that I'm building, after buying the parts...however, I thought it was easier). Could you clarify for me: I have this ATX power supply (A850 GL). I needed to connect it to the “Asus TUF Gaming B650M-Plus Wifi” motherboard, an “RTX 4070 Super” and a “Montech king 95 Pro” case…. I thought it was easier and had fewer cables… I have doubts, difficulties and a lot of fear in making the calls. HELP would be greatly appreciated and I would be forever grateful! Thank you 🙏
