MSI RTX 3090 Ti Suprim X - Unboxing

I have the 3070 Suprim X and they are really superb cards in terms of design and heat sinks. Definitely some of the best cooling.

Yes the cooling is great. Rarely the card goes above 65 degrees. The led stripe is also quite nice.

I own the 4090 Suprim X, I do like the classic 30's suprim design as well. They released a 40 series classic design 4090, but they only sell it in China, not the U.S. one thing I don't like what MSI did was the blowthrough on the backplate. You see cards like Asus use much bigger flow through holes or just nothing in general which allows for superior airflow. My card doesn't go above 61c in 4k ultra though, and doesn't go above 64c in 4k ray tracing ultra.. memory temps and hot spot are only 6c hotter than core at all times. Really is supreme. I had to return my first one though due to a defect where between 1900-2000 rpm you'd hear this annoying blow through sound in the heatsink. I overclock and set manual fan curves so it was extremely annoying and rythmic. That one boosted to 2850 on the core clock STOCK which was absolutely insane stock for a 4090. My new one boosts to 2805 though it is a better bin and I can reach 3.1ghz.

Thanks for sharing! I recently also got the 4090 Suprim and I’m happy. The temps are really good, noise levels are also fine. One thing I don’t like is the coil whine. I will be making a dedicated video for this card as I really think it’s one of better looking gpus currently on the market plus build quality is truly supreme. If there’s something else you’d like to share which I could use in my video I’d be obliged :)

Hi mate, I am considering purchasing a 3090 Ti recently. However I can see only two models available here which is Suprim and Suprim SE, so non-X versions only. Is the frequency the only differences between these three variants? Thanks in advance.

Hi! Yep, I belive so. I checked on the manufacturer website and it seems it's the only difference. Non-X version also has slightly lower power consumption.

Get 3060ti v2 oc but at that price point, why not get a 3070?

well mainly because I had to get the card for benchmarkig purposes to compare it to upcoming 4090, so I thought why not show what's in the box. If you want to see 4000 series it's going to be here on the channel too.
