Cool video sir! Pretty sure that plastic stuff is to prevent shorts. I have this laptop and am waiting for a fan replacement. Not sure why mine failed it’s been rock solid otherwise for 2 years. I have serviced it before (memory and storage upgrades) and it’s tight tolerances inside so for those about to do so in the future here are my tips - those clips that hold the bottom on can break as well as the little plastic columns between exhaust ports so it’s a bit delicate. I’d second the battery removal comment although disconnecting seems fine. However there is a TINY reset battery hole on the bottom of the laptop- find something that will fit in it and poke that thing before you take it apart. Thanks for the video. Cheers!

currently using one, such a good laptop for office work but want to game - for the dragon center it replaces with msi center, dragon center is outdated and it has never update

It did look like the cable was still attached. But probably just was hanging over the top. Otherwise yeah - definitely always unplug the battery. (If you are unsure if you should unplug the laptop….take it in for service).
