The AMD model does not come with a DDR4 version, since only Intel 12-13-14th gen has DDR4+DDR5 both mem controllers build in, the Ryzen 7000 series should only alow for DD5 as far as i am aware, since its based on the Zen3+(mobile) arch, and this chip should only have ddr5 controller. (however speeds can varry 4800-5600, seems to be the norms).

If I want to upgrade the hard drive and there is only one SSD slot, how do I copy whatever files come on the original SSD (operating system, etc) to the new SSD?

What you can do is do a drive clone (eg EaseUS cloning tool), which means it will do a 1 to 1 duplication to the new drive. But the size difference needs to be readjusted after that (disk space extension in the partition tool found in Microsoft Windows). Or if you need only your files, then do a fully clean Windows install to your new drive, put the old one into a external bracket and copy over your private files. My advise is to go with the 1rst version, as usually Windows license is HW signed anyway so it will automatically activated with the new storage anyway. (depends on region and setup of course) Hope I could help.

Should i buy this because i am a student i don't do much games and i do coding and use editing software like filmora also i want to ask it has 1 fan does it heat to much? And which one should i choose this one or thin 15 intel one?

I tested both this and the Cyborg (both with 1 fan) Thermals and noise was never an issue with this. Pay attention that the CPU and GPU "slighlty" lower TDP which means less performance than "regular gaming machines". Hence this is a Thin gaming machine. Although I had very good gaming benchmark results. (not sure about programming / compiling)

i have purchased this device recently and it works great for gaming i played most of the games at high settings and it handled it pretty well but ya it heats a lot while doing some heavy tasks which won't be an issue cos you can activate the fan and it cools pretty fast but is a little loud when you activate it and ya please upgrade the storage if you are going to save large files coz it only comes with 512 gb of storage and mine is 80% full

For video editing I don't know about that,the screen is not color accurate it's a little weird colors so not ideal, but rendering should be fine.

The AMD version has no 2.5 slot only the Intel one. (You can check it in my other video) You can only put here NVMe SSD by replacing the orginal one.

Hey dude can you test if this laptop supports type c charging ....... The specs page says it supports type c power delivery but when I tried charging through a 65 or 85w charging it didn't work ...... I contacted the customer support and they said the power delivery means that it can charge back your phone very fast but can't charge the laptop through it ..... Can you pls help

What is the reason to have 2 SSDs intead of 1 but with a larger capacity? Bigger price per GB for the last ones? The real problem is the 2.5" bay which is now obsolete. A larger battery would be more useful.

There is no "capacity limit". You can simply swap the original SSD to a 8TB too if you will.

32 is alot but this laptop is dd5 at a higher speed the base is 8gb at 4800mhz but u can upgrade to 16 if u buy a stick then it will be better then the video but if you just saying is the 32 better the the vid then yes technically speaking. yes it is better.
