The Bhaat ceremony is a significant pre-wedding ritual in Indian weddings.The ceremony is performed at the homes of both the bride and groom and generally performed a few days before the wedding day.
A few weeks before the wedding, the mother of the bride and groom invites her brothers to the wedding. She offers her brothers jaggery, sweets, and Bhaat Notani. The relatives sing and dance on the occasion.
