I love your videos. I've done this method quite a bit. Can you add alcohol ink to the epoxy like you do the acrylic paints? I did learn a bunch from this video tho.... I made the mistake of using my heat gun over and over... I ended up with a muddled mess and no swirls to speak of. I watched your other video before this one, the beginners to alcohol inks where you used the blues. Now I know to take it easy on the heat gun and let gravity take its course! Thank you...

When putting the first coat of epoxy do you mix both part a and part b and then add the layer and same with what your putting the paint in ?
@MissKissKreations
@MissKissKreations 4 жыл бұрын
Yes. Epoxy is a two part mixative. You must mix two even parts of A and B. Once mixed, that is what you will ALWAYS use to put into your cup or add paint to. Never use only one side, the epoxy will never cure and will always be wet

Would this be the same if you are using alcohol ink? I was not sure if alcohol inks were only to be applied when all of the epoxy is already on the cup and you drip it on, or if you could add the ink to the cup as you did the acrylic paint. I loved the tutorial and it actually answered a lot of my questions on how to do some of the things I have seen on cups! :-)
