Besides the superb production and performance that everybody has mentioned, this drama hits me again and again with its philosophy about life and integrity, evil and kind, love and hate, right and wrong. There are just so many quotes I benefit from. It is much deeper than merely a fantasy drama. And it is much wider than a romance love story, it is about almost all relations--brothers, sisters, parent-child, it is about attitudes towards unrequited love, lost love. I am not sure if all dialogues in all episodes are translated into English on KZbin, but there is definitely more to dig from this drama. It's worth watching 10,000 times.

Chang Chen was a perfect Good of War. I can watch Love and Destiny so many times and will never get tired. Chang Chen is very handsome and such a talented actor. Him and Nini had a movie together and definitely will watch it.

I can't explain my love for this drama.Perfect execution of everything!!Strong storyline,awesome CGI,excellent dialogues and especially perfect implementation of the beautiful ost and xigua music..chef's kiss!! Their love is so different.Just not some powerful male protecting a kitten,which ruins most of the Cdramas.The mental development of Ling xi makes this drama so different.She became so mature eventually,loved it! Ni Ni's acting at the ending was superb.The stunned moment when she saw Jiuchen after 300 years,is awesome,the tears of happiness in her eyes,killing acting!!feels so real! ❤️..she is indeed a fabulous actress.❤️ And about Chang Chen,some people are saying he is old,not handsome..bla bla..to those people,are you blind??!! He is the most perfect choice for this role.He has a mature sexiness❤️. I don’t know why people is creating negative hype about his older look.It’s simple.He just fits with the character perfectly.God of war is portrayed as someone moody,less communicative who is holding a powerful position for a very long time,and radiating strong masculine aura.God of war is a kind of person who doesn't express his love by saying cheesy things to his loved one.He shows his affection by his deeds,by his sacrifices,and Ling Xi is totally ok with that. this role finely suits Chang Chen.Now I can't think of any other person but Chang Chen as GoW,reminds me of Mo Yuan whom I liked more than Ye Hua..I think it would have been funny if some cute,babylike young guy played this role.And normally I can't stand young cute baby like guys..In the drama it is mentioned that GoW is a grown man,has been protecting the realm for several tens of thousands of years, secluded from wordly affections,that explains his cold behaviour,then where is the problem??.So in my opinion,Chang Chen is perfect as GoW. And their chemistry is totally fine also.Without saying cheesy words,they had built up a strong chemistry.I liked this drama especially for Chang Chen’s acting and his personality..I liked him as GoW from his very first appearance in the drama. I like this drama even more than TMOPB..because CGI is not that much satisfying in TMOPB,which is far better in love and destiny,and so is the storyline.And the father-daughter relationship of A'mo and his father..which made me cry.The OST is so beautiful.It is highly recommended.This drama is so underrated.This made me smile,made me sob.perfect combo of comedy and tragedy.especially Shi san;s funny moments..Don't ever compare this with TMOPB.Though the worlds are same,storyline is totally different and beautiful.If I could,I would have given it 10 stars..Superb !!Just give it a try,and you won't regret for sure❤️

So sad that this drama was released shortly after Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms, also known as Eternal love, and didn't get the right credits! There, the main actress - Yang Mi - is a pain to watch (my opinion), most credits goes to Mark Chao, who indeed did a great job, playing 3 roles. I also think it's one of the best Chinese dramas I have seen (and I have seen some!!). The OST is absolute fabulous. I am totally in love with it. 🥰

I absolutely love this OST. I listen to it daily. At first glance, at the God of War was disappointing as I wanted someone younger and better looking but I was completely wrong. I changed my mind quite quick about Chang Chen'w character and role. He totally fit the role and I found him very charming and sexy. I loved this type of drama with God Realms and this is another one added to a collection that I would not mind re-watching over later. Amazing cast and story line. Ni Ni is beautiful. A must see and I recommend it .

I also loved this drama, I had the same feeling in the beginning about the ML but he totally suited this role honestly I don’t think his hair did him any favours it was just pulled back too tightly and looked funny I don’t know why they did such a terrible application of his wig! But he’s such a great actor I could overlook it,although it was very distracting I also really liked the second lead very handsome not a fan of his headgear either 🤔

My favorite scene is execution her with his own sword. I didn't expect she would come up and cut herself in order to protect the god of war. This drama deserves more recognition. The costume design, setting, VFX, CGI, the props, all are very minimal and delivers high standard look, especially God of War's sword which is so minimal, yet giving a powerful, superior look. Some of the fans complain about the costume being so simple, but in my pov, the portrays God of War character, who lives in peace despite his high status among the Gods. I just feel pity that they wrapped the ending very quickly after bringing such high tempo events in the middle. It's too soon, that I was like, 'is that all? after all this happened....muh...' Anyway, the opening song is still in my playlist, superb!

Anyone else loving the special effects though? I mean those guys in post-production really did a sterling job making everything look so great and designing the beasts as well. The actors were fantastic, the music and costumes were amazing and the storyline was great, but if the guys at post-production and special effects had messed up it wouldn't be as good as it came out. I really applaud those behind the scenes guys, phenomenal work y'all did.

Make no mistake! Love and Destiny ❤ is one of the best Cdramas comparable to Ten Mile of Peach Blossoms and Three Lives, Three Worlds: The Pillow Book. The drama was well executed with phenomenal actors/actresses (Cheng Chen and Ni Ni), beautiful songs/lyrics. Their love for one another is out of this world. Each time I rewatch the drama, it still breaks my heart 💔 as though it was my first! Highly recommend this to anyone who hasn't seen it. You won't regret it!

I really think that the public has already made up their opinion before watching the entire episodes of this show. They are missing a very important components as a critique by judging this show based on few episodes thus, it is not credible and appeared as completely bias towards love and destiny. Not, only that they appeared as ill informed but, also, they don’t have the intelligence to grasps the whole concept. This is a magnificent drama and far exceeded my expectations. I congratulate all the people for their job well done, and thanking them all for providing us a delightful and enjoyable entertainment. I just wish people can watch and enjoy this incredible show and let other people enjoy it without prejudice.

I love that NiNi is a woman who can do fighting choreography. I hate it when the woman is useless 😅 I hated that in TMOPB Bai Qian barely did any fighting even though she had a really strong weapon and was a high goddess blah blah. I am here after watching NiNi in The Rising of the Phoenixes... I just want her and Chen Kun to have another project. He was so amazing.

As much as I love TMOPB I think YH and BQ are inferior than JC and LX as a couple, because BQ never fought for her loves one (her son and YH).

May Kendarogawa well to be fair the guy didn’t trust her or fought for her, save the bitch instead who tried to push you off the terrace took her words over yours, then took your good eyes to give to her for damages which she caused in the first place. Nah .. if anyone tried to do that I’d kill him and his stupid parents when If I’m able to do so.. in the book as a mortal in the Heavens, she felt vulnerable and was afraid of Ye Hua and taking her eyesight was the last straw. Unforgivable. Jiuchen always had Ling Xi’s best interest in mind. He would not/has never hurt her (ok A’Mo was not real to him so just a means to save the real person) and find the truth before thinking she’s wrong.. also LX has a circle of friends and family she made, who cared where she is, what happened to her, I guess that’s why birds flock together, foxes hunts alone.. so BQ was too independent told no one, that’s why she brought these upon herself in a way... lesson ALWAYS tell someone where you’re going, especially on a demon-binding fight.

@@kateli1880 agree. i really hate ye hua at that point. he totally doesnt understand how much he hurt su su and how vulnerable she feels after that moment of time. I was shouting way to go susu when she jumped off that terrace. She didnt give up on her life. She just felt that she would have a better life back in the mountain without Ye Hua. Had she known she would jump to her death i bet she wouldnt do so. She gave up on Ye Hua, and i cheered for her! Really hate those men who does things as they please without consulting the other half, even if they thought what theyre doing is for the other half's best interest. COMMUNICATION, people! COMMUNICATE!

As much as I love 10 Miles of Peach Blossom, this one definitely changed my mind. Great storyline throughout from beginning to end. I only wish the chemistry between both characters was as strong as the chemistry between the two leads in 10 Miles of Peach Blossom.

amy cha they didnt have as many intimate scenes like in Ten Miles but I found that is even better. Their love is showed through little details rather than kissing and hugging. But for me the kissing scene in ep 58 is extremely good, more natural and romantic than in Ten miles. Ninj and Zhang chen are both professional and skilled actors. They really convince me as a couple
