Good video i liked it very much but 2 things. Number one in number 5 when holt steals the crown from the desk notice that in the back of the desk its one unit so it doesent matter if its in the bottom. Number 2 is another holt slip up there is an episode in which he says that he never lie(its about gina's dance recital terry tell him to lie and he says that he never lies even not white lies) and in several occasions on the show he does lie

Nah, they changed other things too: in the ep when he cames back he tells that he did things like "fix a boxing match", but in the Pimento ep he says he was just the IT guy. Probably the writter for that ep wanted to dumb down the experience for laughs and forgot to fact check.

The Hitcock/Scully flashbacks thing I thought were like that because they were how Jake was imaging it happening and prior to the season 6 episode he hadn't seen what they actually looked like back then so he filled it in with variants of how they look now.

There's one episode where Jake is trying to convey how horrible his father was, by saying that he "learnt how to shave from watching Home Alone". However in another episode, I believe the one where Jake meets his half-sister, the two are discussing one of their father's friends, Steve, and Jake says "I love Steve! He taught me how to shave!" Or something along those lines.

B99 is pretty good at keeping up. The only real error was Hitchcock n Scully. The jakes vest thing was on purpose, holt n the tv was never an error he doesn’t watch tv shows but he watches tv for news plus Kevin watches documentaries. Also jake saying he can’t grow a mustache was obviously a joke too, but not wrong because he grew a beard in person but it was patchy af. Whoever came up with this list didn’t actually watch the show.

A few things to consider here: Holt used a contraction when talking about not having a TV in his room It’s possible to have multiple tells. I have 3 that people have picked up on Depending on the person, stress can cause accelerated hair growth and Jake would have been stressed the hell out during his stint in prison Scully and Hitchcock’s past was a clear retcon because they didn’t figure that the characters would get their own flashback episode And the biggest mistake is that the show has finished

The mustache was on purpose. Stress and fear of being in prison. The only time that he was happy is that when Amy and Charles visit him. -- Same with Charles' white hair. -- The bulletproof vest was just like an Easter egg of Jake being clumsy from time to time (although it was the 1st ever ep). -- Yes, holt has more than one tell when he lies. -- The crown wasn't at the bottom. -- Hitch and Scull's early '70s vs late '70s look. It's possible to get yourself from fit to fat in just a short amount of time. - Jake wasn't always right. The way Jake reacted to the pictures of H and S's, was like his first time seeing them in their younger years. So there was no way he could've had seen the two even in their younger selves. They had huge arrests back in their prime until the late '70s. Then it all went downhill from there. -- Yeah, Charles was just a pushover. His own actions and behavior are evidence of that. Proposing early, saying yes all the time to her previous fiancé, even agreed to everything Jake told him, etc. My theory is that something snapped after his divorce. Then he just paints everything in rainbow just to be a part of something interesting or/and someone, basically the just wanted to be accepted. -- Terry's name: "Charles! Let us get in the limo please! Terry's so hungry" uhmmmmm... He said Charles. Very hard to hear, why? The car goes vroom vroom when he yelled Charles' name. -- Jake's terrible at Math. Everybody knows that. He was probably trying to impress Holt for saying the number of days instead of saying 6-months undercover. He might be one of the greatest detectives, but he still was a child inside, with F- in Math.

Holt uses contractions all the time. Pretty impossible to keep that one consistent throughout 8 seasons of episodes, especially before they wrote that into his character.

Missed 2! 1: When Rosa came out to her parents, Jake bought her coffee, and she said "I don't drink coffee, just herbal tea", however, Rosa is seen drinking coffee countless times; 2: Scully saying he has never solved a puzzle, but a few seasons later, Scully dives into a pile of shredded paper saying he's great at jigsaw puzzles. Still my favorite show, though!

But a few episodes earlier osullivan refers to scully, charles and terry as "detective flat top, detective little guy and sargent muscle guy". But he hasn't ever seen terry so how did he give him that nickname ?

with the vest thing, jake is heavily adhd-coded and some of that can involve bad hand-eye co-ordination. even if he was trained, doing something like put on a vest whilst running would be difficult (people with adhd also have a harder time multitasking)

Actually way false. I was diagnosed with heavy ADHD at the age of 7 and all I do is multitask. Whenever I am talking to somebody, I always have a little fight in my hand like a rebel or a paper clip. I usually snap to the rhythm of whatever song I'm listening to while I run and I'm always talking while I work haha. But that vest mistake was totally unrelated to his ADHD

There’s a tiny detail about Holt that’s considered an inconsistency. When the precinct was allegedly about to shut down Holt reveals to Amy that he’s been mentoring her, when she proposes that he finishes the mentor program even if the precinct shuts down and to “meet for breakfast everyday and mentor her over eggs” , he clearly shows how disappointing and absurd it is to have eggs for breakfast. Whereas during the episode where Jake, Kevin, and Gina investigate holt’s bad mood, they retrace his steps to a diner where he had boiled eggs for breakfast and Kevin specifies that it’s holt’s “good mood food”. It’s only a tiny detail but still counts as a slip-up!

there was one episode where they were in Amy's apartment for Thanksgiving. in one scene they were stuck in the bathroom because of the turkey. Amy called Jake and her father to tell them that there was a turkey loose in the apartment but then Jake said " how's that butt" and Terry started to giggle a little bit

There is a huge error because of the New Girl crossover episode. Nasim Pedrad exists in both shows as completely different characters. In B99 is Kate, Jake’s reckless, glass-in-her-food half sister. In New Girl she is Aly, a well established cop for the LAPD and Winston’s partner.

In the last season there's a moment where boyle left the conference room and jake stays in, and you can see clearly through the window how boyle walks away and stands up just staring at the camera and waving to it with his whole arm. I always like to think that Holt made up his first tell to throw Jake off so he would consciously look for Ray pulling his lip and would miss his actual tell. Which is why he didn’t seem that bothered by Jake figuring out his first tell

Holt is not a perfectionist 😭 In the ep15 of s4 holt says "never trust an adult who chews gum at all" while mentoring amy, but in s3 ep8 while working on Gina's desk he says, "she has all my favourite gums" and goes ahead to take a bite

One mistake is in the first few seasons when Jake says he legally changed his name to Jacob Sherlock Peralta, but in the last Doug Judy episode I think called “PB&J” during the quiz when Jake asks Judy his middle name it’s something bland like John or something. So either he didn’t legally change his name and he was joking or the crew forgot that little detail.

You are going to tell me that organized criminals, with years of experience would call a guy "one of them" if he, an ex cop, was part of it for about 2 months? Even about the time -I'm pretty sure Holt himself says that he spent 6 months. If you watch both episodes side by side you will notice that something is wrong.

I've spotted Holt's tell inconsistency. After some thinking I've found an explanation that fits. Captain Holt naturally wasn't OK with having such an obvious tell, especially since Jake could spot it. So he worked hard to overcome it. Hence the word contractions surfaced. Which he finds more acceptable since it's more subtle and can be used as code.

Here's one that i've not seen anyone bring up. In the episode where Kevin has to be kept at a safehouse, Jake suggests to Kevin he has to say something cool after hitting someone, preferably ending it with "Dirtbag", however, both Kevin and Holt agrees that calling someone a dirtbag would be a compliment, since a dirtbag is a useful part of a vaccumcleaner. Now, rewind into the flashback to one of Holt's arrests back in the days. A pyromaniac, and what does he call him? Ah, yes.. Dirtbag
