The Hogwarts and Rent Easter eggs were extremely easy for me to spot. But the fact the cast kept their wands as souvenirs reminds me of the Harry Potter cast. Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson also kept souvenirs from their wizarding world cinematic journey. I believe Daniel Radcliffe kept a pair of glasses, Rupert Grint kept the Deluminator/Put-Outer, and Emma Watson kept a wand.

'PonyBoy' is from "The Outsiders" and 'John Bender' is from " The Breakfast Club". Also, the principal, 'Mr. Larritate' is named for another tv character 'Larry Tate' from "I Dream of Jeannie"....
