If you think the time Sheldon dedicated his valedictorian speech to Missy is heartwarming, you should see the look on her face after she defeated Marcus in a baseball game and she and the boy were the last team members to congratulate each other on the game. I also like a few scenes from "A Proposal and a Popsicle Stick Cross;" 1)Veronica realizing she's staring to fall for Georgie after all. 2)"Girl Time" between Veronica and Missy. 3)George Jr. and Sr. both coming to Veronica's defense when her mom's drunken boyfriend tries to take her home.

I love the riff between Sheldon and Leslie Winkle! She puts up with zero from his mouth and than says "oh! Ouch!" Sheldon bristles every time he sees the brilliant Leslie Winkle!.. I also adore Meemaw and her various boyfriends, the life lessons she shares with Sheldon and how kind she is to Mandy! I believe her titanium backbone is the core of this family! Yes she is old but she has more life in her than any other character! Her two run ins with the law in Mexico and in their hometown do not flustered her! I also am curious how Georgie turned out so normal when both parents are consistently rude and insulting. I find Paige boring and seriously hope your next spinoff is not about her. I like Big George as a father..he is abgood father but is less kind to Georgie than he should be. They both treat him poorly because that is why they were forced to link up for life. Sheldon as a grown up is the epitome of his mother..whining,controlling and highly Manipulative. Fascinating study ofa very believable American family from this time period. The only happy person is Meemaw! Very strange that in both series their are no pets. Evan Amy and Sheldon contemplated a pet turtle, but never bought one..only Raj for a brief time shared Cinnamon with us!

There are so many moments I love in Young Sheldon. I love the moment when all the other Big Bang Theory characters were shown as kids and when Sheldon's mom notices that Missy feels like like no one takes notice of her that her parents only worry about Sheldon during the twin experiment.

I love them both, for totally different reasons, but, I prefer YS, because, while not as drop dead hilarious as TBBT, it has so much heart and a piercing look into the human condition.

Two moments not mentioned that stuck in my mind are 1- when Sheldon is doing the taxes & his dad asks him to keep a secret from his mom regarding the $200 check. After Sheldon spends the night at Tams house in his quest to avoid his mother, he ends up telling his father that he used to look up to him but now he can no longer do so. It’s said in that somewhat robotic tone of voice, but that felt like such a punch in the gut. No parent wants to hear something like that from their kids, & certainly not at such a young age. That was so very much more devastating than the actual secret being kept by Georgie, Mee-Maw & George. The second moment is somewhat fleeting, but it comes up in the episode when George has his first heart problem in the show & Georgie steals Mee-Maws car to get to the hospital so that they can possibly see their dad. Sheldon gets up to either get something from a machine or use the restroom (I’ve forgotten) but on his way the door to his dads room is opened up and he gets a glimpse into a problematic moment during George’s heart treatment. Sheldon appears stuck to the floor of the hallway, & for a moment he’s not the “wunderkind” Sheldon but instead a young child watching a sick parent in the hospital. That is remarkably frightening. I’m lucky enough to not have gone thru that - but I recall how scary I found visiting sick grandparents to be. It must be like a million times more frightening than that. And I now know from personal experience how scary it is to deal w a sick parent in the hospital as an adult and I found that nauseatingly frightening. So I can only imagine what was going thru Young Sheldon’s mind as he saw his generally hefty, strong dad lying helpless in that hospital bed. This is not to say I disagree w the choices made in the top 10 list. I’m just noting two other moments that have stuck out to me. 🥰🥰🥰

Even though their not on the list, two of my favorite Young Sheldon moments is when the kids steal Meemaw's car to go to the hospital to see George who had a heart attack and when Mary and George take Sheldon to a therapist and he experiences comics for the first time.

I love how nuanced all of the characters are, but especially Sheldon's Dad. It would have been so easy to make "Sheldon's cheating Dad" a terrible father because he ended up being a bad husband in the end, but he's actually a really good dad. I love that, being a not so great husband doesn't mean you can't be a good dad. The criteria is pretty different lol.

Favorite scene.. Missy sets Georgie up by saying a girl called for him... last month. Georgie waiting for this girl to call back..runs to the phone when it rings. I'll get it! he says answering the phone all GQ smooth.. 'Hello, Georgie speaking'. Missy on the other line..' Did you run to the phone? Do you feel stupid?'

When Sheldon let's Paige stay in his dorm after she runs away, and even tries to make a care package for her and shows genuine concern in his own way. 3. When Sheldon and Meemaw bond over a video game and Sheldon for once acts his age

Even better when he's looking for Paige and worrying about her when she's drunk and going to a party. It's fascinating to see Sheldon worry about someone other than himself. :D Another very great interaction with Paige was 4x04, where Sheldon provoked her until she punched him. But my favorite is when Paige pranked Sheldon with a "fake kiss". Interesting that Sheldon abhors all social and especially physical contact and was unable to hug let alone kiss anyone until his +30, yet Paige had no problem getting him to kiss her or even start dating her (if she wasn't prank him). :D I love episodes with Paige. :)

@@SynNickel9 Yeah, I agree. :)They had a complex relationship, but mostly they had great chemistry (actually the best... Sheldon didn't really have any chemistry with anyone, certainly not Amy, maybe a LITTLE with Penny). If it was a standalone show, the creators would have developed her character and their relationship more. But unfortunately it's a prequel and they can't disturb the world of TBBT and make major changes... :/ They actually created an ideal partner for Sheldon (she surpasses Amy in every way), but they couldn't do anything about it or develop it further. :(

Him and Missy may get annoyed with each other and may fight sometimes but they still love each other and support each other. Missy has: •comforted Sheldon •motivated Sheldon •Slept in Sheldon's bed when he was in the hospital to be closer to him and feel his warmth •Taught Sheldon how to ride a bike •Despite being happy about having her own room to get away from him still let him sleep on her floor as she knows how attached to her he is and it was clear she missed him too. •Created a system with Sheldon to where he can still talk to her even if they're not in the same room, and despite being angry with him at times still always answers his calls •Helped him win Class President •Helped him overcome his fear of change. Sheldon has: •Encouraged her when she was trying out for baseball •Dedicated his valedictorian speech to her •taught her fractions •gotten her to vent to him and cheered her up in his own way •defended her in arguments •he was there for her when she was giving birth And they were last ones to interact before he left for Cal Tech, they didn't say much but didn't need to as they understood each other really well and their faces said everything for them For Penny Sheldon (again she reminds him of Missy) • Took care of her when she fell in the shower and injured her arm • Sang soft kitty for her • She's the only one in the entire show besides Amy he consistently hugs • Was there for her when she and Leonard broke up the first time, despite Leonard being his best friend/brother and lied to Leonard for her to continue spending time with her • Kept secrets for her • She got him to go to a fortune teller • Went to see her play • Made hot beverages for her • Encouraged her to pursue acting because that's what she wanted to do even when Leonard wasn't happy about it • She's the only one in the show he's consistently comfortable with • Taught her science Penny Has: • taken care of him when he's sick and sings soft kitty for him • started knocking like Sheldon • Helped him solve string theory • Defended Sheldon numerous times and even beat up a bully for him • She's the only one who can get him to step out of his comfort zone • Helped him be okay with change • She comforts him when he's upset • Taken him to Disneyland • Helped him improve Fun With Flags by teaching him about body language • She's the main person who helped him grow as a person • She even remembers word for word why Sheldon has to sit in his spot • She even makes Spaghetti and Hotdogs for him • Let him stay in her apartment when he locked himself out and even gave him her bed

The Top 10 Young Sheldon Moments....was very good. The Writers for the show are Very Good. To tell you the truth, I accidentally started watching your show and now I can't get enough of it. Young Sheldon is Smart and I would had love to had a son similar to Sheldon. Having raised two sons that wouldn't listen to me or even have good conversation with made me mad. Sheldon ability to talk in an intelligent manner---makes me believe he is real when in reality its just a show. I love Young Sheldon or I like your writers and again I can't get enough of your show. As for the original show, where Sheldon is full grown, I never liked it (I feel the writers of that show) make Sheldon a Real Dick or Axx Hxxx. Back to which Top 10 of Young Sheldon I liked.....His High School Speech is my favorite, in fact I get a small tear in my eye when he talks about his Sister....bottom line it"s a "Twin Thing" that we who are not Twins will never KNOW. Thanks for the writers doing a very good job.

I only recently realized that Sheldons mom on Big Bang Theory is the mom of Sheldons mom on Young Sheldon.
