"My Heart Will Go On" is a mediocre song at best. If it weren't part of a movie soundtrack, it wouldn't have lasted more than a couple of weeks on the radio. Celine Dion had much better songs than this, IMHO.

Jackson (apart from the Jackson 5) was a BIG star--the biggest, at times--from at least the late 70's through the 90's. His album Dangerous (with the song Black or White) came out around 1991, and was HUGE. The vid for Black or White was on MTV all the time! There's no excuse for leaving Jackson off of a 90's Top 10 (or his sister Janet, for that matter).

That's because millennials lived through and remember y2k. A millennial is someone born late 80's to mid-90's. Those born in the late 80's and early 00's are gen-z, also known as the i-gen.

This was the last decade that videos were actually played on MTV and VH-1 with any regularity. Thus, everyone was familiar with the songs and groups regardless of their personal genre preferences. Now you can get lost on KZbin and listen to all kinds of stuff, but the larger shared experience is gone.

Ah, ...Baby One More Time. The definition of Pop. The style, the emotion, the music. Ah, I love it all. Brit is so inspirational. I am in love with the rhythm, the lyrics... Wow.... Amazing... Who knew, if Nsync or whoever it was originally for, the world would be a damn mess. Help us Britney. Who knew a debut single and debut song could be #1 of the 90s? And how did it NOT earn a Grammy? Da fuk is wrong with you Grammy people

I was born 1991. Let's face it. I loved all these songs in the 90s. My fave pop group at the time when I went to elementary school was britney spears, n'sync, and backstreet boys. I also loved the song wannabe. Loved barbie girl too. And genie in a bottle. ...my heart will go on is one of my fave songs to sing. It always makes me cry. Anyone else remember lorelei Gilmore singing i will always love you in Gilmore girls? I cried.

I love all of these 90s songs considering I was a 90s kid. At least I was born in a terrific decade. I miss the 90s terribly. Most of today's music I really don't like except there's a couple of new songs that I like.

Laura Long Yes. Technically she was country. But I always considered her to be a country to pop crossover. That was one reason she sold so many records. Kind of like Taylor (sp?) Swift today. Although I don't care for Ms. Swift. Hahaha!

My favorite pop song from the 1990's is One Sweet Day by Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men because it came out in 1995 the year I graduated from high school.

How Do I Live by LeAnn Rimes is my favorite song. It is the song that actually open the door for me to discover more of country songs. I mean I have already heard of dolly parton, kenny rogers, johnny carson, and others but at that time I was 12 years old and living in a rural area in one of the cities in mindanao in the philippines and I dont know and not aware of country music coz that kind of music is not that really popular here. I dont even know that those artists I have mentioned are doing country music. But when LeAnn Rimes sang How Do I Live, it intrigued me and made a research about what kind of music she is singing and I discovered a great and incredible music that had been in the waves for long time already. Thanks LeAnn.
