"My Heart Will Go On" is a mediocre song at best. If it weren't part of a movie soundtrack, it wouldn't have lasted more than a couple of weeks on the radio. Celine Dion had much better songs than this, IMHO.

Songs like "I Want It That Way" "Barbie Girl" "Wannabe" are like my favorite song whenever I'm feeling nostalgia, and "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion is my lullaby.

The first two are just movie soundtrack songs, of which #1 is MUCH better than #2 (if you're just considering how good the song itself was, and not the associated movie). I wouldn't include any of songs 2, 3, 4 or 8 on the list. (Never heard of #10; the one noteworthy Aguilera song I remember, Beautiful, didn't come out until the 00's.) Re #3, both Mariah Carey and Boyz 2 Men had MUCH better songs by themselves, than that song. And Celine Dion had better songs than #2.

Jackson (apart from the Jackson 5) was a BIG star--the biggest, at times--from at least the late 70's through the 90's. His album Dangerous (with the song Black or White) came out around 1991, and was HUGE. The vid for Black or White was on MTV all the time! There's no excuse for leaving Jackson off of a 90's Top 10 (or his sister Janet, for that matter).

How the fuck is Believe an honorable mention? That's one of the world's most iconic and best-selling singles in HISTORY. 11M worldwide copies, No.1 in 23 countries, created the "Cher Effect" trademark, won 3 Grammys, gave Cher the record for oldest female artist with a No.1 song (She was 52) and longest time span between No.1 hits, as her last one prior to Believe was in 1974, 26 years before Believe.

I'm an 80's and 90's woman all the way. But I have to say that the 90's was definitely the decade of the music diva. Big vocals with serious range that weren't altered by auto tune to the point where they are unrecognizable as actual women singing. They were truly talented women.

@@jayluis189 Well I do remember going to Hawaii when I was two years old in the winter of 1987. But I don't remember everything we did there in Hawaii unless I had heard what my mother says about our trip there. Since it was just me and my mother there in Hawaii together when my dad stayed behind with my new baby sister over in Japan at that time. I do remember my mom saying that while we were in Hawaii she finds out that she was pregnant with my baby brother during our trip to Hawaii just by over hearing her mentioning it before at a later date. But I don't remember everything about that trip to Hawaii because I was only 2 years old at that time.

How Do I Live by LeAnn Rimes is my favorite song. It is the song that actually open the door for me to discover more of country songs. I mean I have already heard of dolly parton, kenny rogers, johnny carson, and others but at that time I was 12 years old and living in a rural area in one of the cities in mindanao in the philippines and I dont know and not aware of country music coz that kind of music is not that really popular here. I dont even know that those artists I have mentioned are doing country music. But when LeAnn Rimes sang How Do I Live, it intrigued me and made a research about what kind of music she is singing and I discovered a great and incredible music that had been in the waves for long time already. Thanks LeAnn.
