my theory is : The reason why its called ‘Demented Dream Island’ Is because it is Catalizts dream and he cant really seem to remember what the monsters looked like so he tried to picture them from what he thinks and he knows what he looks like so hes normal apart from the others.

Theory: Catalist often forgets what the monsters look like due to an unknown condition they never told anyone about (Except for Hyehehe and Cherubble), and when they start dreaming, this is what they look like, Furcorn being the one they forget the most. The jumpscare could be an irrational fear about the monsters trying to get rid of them entirely. The reason why they look like 9 Furcorns at first is because that's Catalists why of reminding themself how the monsters here look like, they draw multiple of the monster to remember. Ofc they have the other mysticals(?) to remind them, but they do it jic. They usually just have this nightmare after a bad memory day. All monsters sing freely, but Catalist knows it's still them trapped in an endless loop, just like how it works normally. Hyhehe and Cherubble often calm Catalist down after these nightmares, but they still frequently get them, and they don't know how to make them go away.

Как мы знаем, котализатор создает сны, значит возможно, что этот остров «Ошибочный сон» к чему отсылает название, так как это действительно неудачный сон котализатора. Возможно, он был заточен в этом месте, и за время пробывания здесь позабыл как выглядят монстры, какие звуки они издают, и из-за того что он просто был в этом острове из пустой травы, он немного сошел с ума, поэтому его представление о монстрах сильно искозилось.
