Yes of course!☺️ no msn wasn’t a requirement I actually got it to be able to work in management somewhere else but I love my job as a school nurse too much 🥺 can’t see myself leaving! ✨☺️

It was going to be on mental health during pregnancy. I feel like there’s a big gap on the way we check for mental health issues and ppd during pregnancy. Addressing mental health more often during pregnancy may prevent ppd. That was going to be my focus 😌

How did you get a preceptor? Does it have to be an MSN nurse?

Hello I finished 2 weeks ago and used a virtual preceptor. You can use virtual or do in person. The preceptor has to have their msn or dnp for a year to become a preceptor.

I used someone in my place of work. They don’t have to be a nurse but need to have a masters degree. I used the school principal.

It was ok for me I only had one bad experience towards the end but most of my experience was good.

It was 100 hours. It’s some what self paced but you have to get it done before the semester is done.
