Cohen's testimony is irrelevant to the documentary evidence of falsified business records which is slam dunk. Cohen can speak about intent, which jacks those charges up to felonies, but there's still an extremely strong circumstantial case for intent without Cohen. He's a narrative witness, not a fact witness.

I suggest Lisa takes another look at Cohen’s testimony regarding the 24 October call. He did not say he was unsure about whether he spoke to Trump. He said he believed he did. If the prosecution were to follow her advice here - which is to say that his recollection was actually a mistake - it is **that** that would be a catastrophic mistake.

Would Trump care about committing perjury? He already has many trials lined up for serious crimes that he knows he has committed. One more is no worse.
