The DNC is partly to blame in my opinion . They thought Hilary would be a shoo-in in 2016 and that no one would vote for a game show host, so they gave the supremely unlikeable woman “her turn” after stabbing Bernie Sanders in the back. She hasn't even held a public office but I'll tell you - even Democrats get angry calls and so do all the welfare workers. Does she really think that only one party is disliked? LOL I worked for the public sector for Medicaid and we got angry calls all day. Also, the program was filled with FRAUD. And that was in a BLUE STATE! Quit dreaming that having a 'D' behind one's name somehow leads to a heavenly existence. Go to work for welfare - many of their offices need armed guards and they get death threats all the time. Our building got 3-4 death threats a month!

Thinking about that now terrifies me because of the massive amount of people who think the same. It's a commentary on our educational system, media (or lack thereof), and and insecurity. If it's full-blown NPD, you can't heal it unfortunately....Even the rare ones in high quality therapy just don't recover😮‍💨.And yes they tend to get worse in old age in regards to the paranoia & all that other 💩...Also an old narc can be really nasty because they can potentially become more experienced & fall back into more covert types of behaviors that aren't as easy for most people to pickup on initially.I had the misfortune of having a father like that, he was a mess until the end.

It's tough because it's a parent & not easy to break ties. My experience with narcs wasn't just in the workplace but I dated one and omg, he was the textbook variety. I got away from him but the scars remain. Take care of yourself.

As a mental health therapist retired, I can tell you that narcissistic people are the worst to work with. They are totally lost in delusional thinking about who they are due to tremendous insecurity and cannot be honest with themselves. I much rather work with borderlines, bipolar, anyone but narcissistic people. To think that we could have someone this sick possibly run for president is way over the top, especially after Jan 6th and that debate where he completely lost it. To even think about him having the nuclear codes with his behavior is way over the top for me. To know that so many support him only shows they are as sick as he is. Frankly, I think America needs a good 12 step program and to grow up.
