I’ve been binge-listening and watching all of his videos- I think Mr.Sohn’s Beethoven is by far the most refined, noble and magical of them all; his technical mastery and musical originality is a boundless realm of humanity. Hats off to you!!!

I just "discovered" Minsoo Sohn today. I have to agree with you, with the caveat that he is AMONG the most refined, noble and magical interpreters of Beethoven. P.D. I just heard the "Waldstein" performed by him. Now I agree with you that he is "BY FAR the most refined, noble and magical interpreter".

Can we make this the norm for filming all classical piano performances? One camera fixed in a position where you can see the pianist's face and hands simultaneously. No camera man pretending they're shooting some Marvel action flick. No cuts and jumps all over the place where you miss half of what is happening. No obnoxiously close zoom ins where you can see up their nostrils. Just a focus on the performance.

와..역대급이네요.. 절제된 소리안에서 모든걸 다 쏟아네시네요. 왼손.오른손 전부 옥구슬 굴러가듯이 너무 청아하네요. 작게 치는부분에서 같은음 연타.패달링은 정말 누구도 할수 없는 테크닉이네요. 왜 임윤찬이 스승님은 종교라고 했는지 알수 있네요.

Engaging piano playing, Mr Minsoo Sohn. When I first came here, I planned not to listen to the whole piano piece, just one part listen to it.
