Mate, after your video I started spending some time with the plugin. The more time I spend with this plugin, the more fascinated I get. This plugin can do upwards compression, downwards compression, upwards expansion, downwards expansion and OTT (In the shape processor we can set 2 nodes that can act as 2 threshold points and achieve it). This can clear the material surgically. It also can eq. It also can do spectral side-chaining. A true multi-purpose tool which all the audio producers should have. I am not sure why this is not talked about much. Thanks again for this video.

I went through the manual. Under the Processor 1 and Processor 2 topics, under the 'Downwards' subtopic the last line has a typo, as far as I understand, based on your demonstration. The word 'reduced' should be changed to 'increased', in that line in my humble opinion. If I am right, please take this to the attention of the relevant personnel at Melda. Thanks again Mate.

Mate, one more question. Do you have any idea whether in what order the gate, Processor 1 and Processor 2 are connected? Just wanted to know whether there are parallel or serial. If serial, in what sequence they are connected. Thank you.

I'm pretty sure they are serial, but I don't know the exact order. I'd guess it is gate, processor 1 then processor 2. I don't know for sure though.

Just for your info, since we have discussed the gate processor's usage in Mastering, I found the following video by Luca Pretolesi. He is using a gate for mastering to regain dynamics. I think we can use the upwards compression also to achieve this. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gZCmZHSGaal4o7c

Yes you can do that as well if you want. Sometimes you reduce the dynamics too much or the source isn't good and you can regain some dynamics by using an expander.
