Hi Justin, This has a set of Light Gauge .053-.012 Phos. Bronze John Pearse strings on it, that's what I usually use on my acoustic guitars.

just wondering if catfish mikes his guitars live??? or does he have pickups in some of his guitars?? also what kind of mikes or pickups does he use?? thank u i am a huge fan.....

Justin - Catfish uses both a mic and Highlander pickups on all his guitars. The mic is often an SM57, or sometimes a condenser mic.

Hi, Martinman. I asked Catfish about the tuning. He says it is in standard tuning, but tuned a whole step low. Hope that helps!
