Great idea. I wonder if scotchguard would help them last more than one season. Dry cleaners used to do that but it's probably prohibitively expensive.

Selena, I have never ever commented on a site before but I absolutely love the new curtains! They bring the room together. Victorian Era always used multiple patterns.... lush. It also allows the eyes to rest as they go around the room, the white just let you take in the whole of the room and if you see everything at once, you actually see nothing.

I like the idea of a natural, jute rug for the outdoor dining space. But nothing with too much color! As for the botanical curtains in the living room...they detract from your beautiful art! I like the new curtains. I think the other ones were nice, but a little drab. I don't think the new ones clash with your other things. I think it would be good to sit with them for a couple weeks and then see how you feel about them. They're just really different from what you had up there before.

I loved the floral hoodie with the shorts! For your outdoor patio, I think a pink(or coral) and white stripped rug would look so cute and would match your patio set and still keep it pretty, feminine and Springy! It’ll compliment the flowers when they all bloom.

Curtains are too busy in the room, but really pretty. I personally love the camel! What a great find and piece. I bought a pair of white decorative elephants back in the mid 70’s that I still have and survived a number of overseas and stateside moves and I still love them. You always look beautiful in whatever you put on😊

Omg Selena I SO do and have done the same with drapes and even throw pillows on my sofa lol I love so many different patterns etc and always drag something home that just don't work and always get upset when it don't work simply because I love that look too just too many choices when out shoppin it is easy to wanna grab what we like but does it work in the space haha not always omg the struggle is real 😂 the white drapes are PERFECT they look elegant yet don't compete with all your other beautiful pieces!

I think an outdoor rug would add color. I would pick up the color of your cushions in the rug. Maybe a floral that is not too gaudy.

I like the floral curtains..you have to remember you’ve had a low key soft palate curtain (white)..so going with color -makes your senses seem overloaded.. the colors in them are awesome..I do not think it clashes..they have the same color picking up in the rest of your decor…maybe leave them up for a week or 2…get use to the color and then see how you feel..you could also do the white curtains and put 1 of the floral panel up in the middle of the white ones ..on each window….and when you want to open the curtains you just move all 3 to either side of the window …so you have that side sway curved swoop look instead opening open in the middle.. and you have that pop of color peeking thru….just some thoughts…😁…ok have great day!

I like the curtains they look good for spring/summer and once you return to "normal" they will blend in better. Good job on keeping the waters clean by picking up the bobber. Outdoor rugs probably another thing to clean up to you. The camel is cute and fits well with your Victorian whimsical home a good drink holder.

I think we should ALL ..... LIVE IN A CITY THAT WE LOVE!!!! I live in the same city that I am Very Proud to have been born in, Marietta (Cobb County), Georgia; and I think Marietta is the Most Beautiful City In the USA!!!! Downtown Marietta is a BEAUTIFUL Square, with Live Band Concerts and Picnics, and Antique and Art Shows. Marietta is near 12,000-Acre Lake Allatoona, in Cobb County, where we camp, ski, and boat ride on a lot of weekends. Sometimes, our family gets fast food after work, and we eat it at the lake, or at nearby Acworth Beach, also in Cobb County. Cobb County has tons of Goodwill Thrift Stores, and tons of Great Antique Shops. Marietta has Lockheed Martin Aeronautical, where we all have GREAT jobs!!!!! Our weather is not too bad, in the winter. BOTH OF YOU ARE ALWAYS WELCOME IN OUR BEAUTIFUL CITY OF MARIETTA, GA!!!!!

I think if you go with a solid yellow or get matching curtains with your pillows, that is in your painting it would pull all the colors together and you would not compete with your paintings.

Do what I do. Since you can’t return them, use one of the panels to either make a table runner or pillow covers. That is if you really love the pattern.

The pattern on the curtains are to die for, but it does take away from the room. I agree with Donalee; use them to make slip covers for the chairs. A natural rug would look good in that area with the flower print of the slipcover cushions.
