Hi, for Question 8. (a), you didn't calculate the discriminant property for real roots. By that, we get 'a' less than -(2)^3/2 or more than (2)^3/2. Hence the final answer will be 'a' lies in (-4, -(2)^3/2] and [ (2)^3/2, 4 ).

Sir I don't know if you read comments or not but if you do read this comment can you please suggest me books for ISI MSQSM ?! My IIT JAM MS didn't go well I am really confused and I don't know where to begin my preparation for ISI because I'll probably mess this up too I know I am probably asking for too much but if you could please help me it'll be a great help! Start with 11th and 12th NCERT, then finish Arihant's 42 Years' Solved Papers. Definitely solve the QMS previous year papers at least thrice, each of them. That's probably enough.
