Looks like a good set-up but I might need a couple of the Dromedary Bags to get all rinsed off. Wonder how well is absorbs heat if you set that black bag out in the sun....hopefully some of that heat would get in there to transfer to the water.

For drinking water, I'd stick with Source bladders. No stink, bad taste and they're easy to clean. Great video, love the shower feature. Cheers.

Nice review. The shower is better than what I thought. I'm going to buy one or two of these to fix on my bike front wheel.

How many shower minutes does one get out of a 6 litre bag? Thanks for a great review!
@biblesnbarbells13 жыл бұрын
@scooter17568 A 6 liter bag would be plenty to take a shower as long as you do not leave the water run too long. The back absorbs heat very well because it is all black. I would say a few hours in direct sunlight and you would be good to go. Thanks for watching.

So is it a good deal bying all three items but i am concern in losing the nibble or the main cap when changing these out some type of connected string to the pack should be there
@biblesnbarbells13 жыл бұрын
@Machi74005 It does. These attachments are a must if you get the dromedary bag. They add to its usefulness. Thanks for watching.

The one good thing about these bags is you can heat water with your camp stove in a pan and add hot water to bag and mix or shake to have warm shower so that is nice..
@biblesnbarbells8 жыл бұрын
I agree. that is an important feature. These bags are very strong.

Great vid, thanks for posting! A couple questions if I may, did you ever find out how long it takes for the bag to run dry using the shower attachment without stopping? I want to purchase one of these dromedary bags but my concern is with the aftertaste some people have mentioned. Did you experience this and if so, how did you remove the aftertaste? Thanks again and greetings from Germany

Thanks for watching and commenting. I did not time how long it took for the bag to run dry. I can do another video for this. I think these bags are a must have and have not had a problem with aftertaste.

When I put a little ivory dish soap in mine and then rinsed it out with fairly hot water that did the trick nicely. The following site indicates a run time of 4.75 minutes for a 6 liter bag. wapneed.com/download/msr-dromedary-bags-and-shower-kit-by-gear-and-stuff/U9EaGMI3EwE

You might maybe could permanently attach the little nipple to the carrier bag, or to the internal bladder, by making a little nylon cord lanyard. Better than leaving it a separate piece, and risking dropping it into the dirt, or even losing it outright. Not sure which would be a better attachment point: the bag, or the bladder. That bag would probably be easier.

I would say it is strong. The whole unit is very well made. Do you want a specific type of test? Thanks for watching. Anthony.

Would it be possible for you to fill the bag up and record how long it takes to empty through the shower hose? I'm curious as to how long of a shower I could have with this setup.

@mostlymichaelcanada Thanks for the tip. Source bladders are like camelbak?
@biblesnbarbells13 жыл бұрын
@mostlymichaelcanada Thanks for this information. I will check out the website, I never heard of them. I have several camelBak bladders and have not had any problems with them. Anthony.
@mostlymichaelcanada13 жыл бұрын
@biblesnbarbells Source are similar. Source has quick couplers, and are made of a cool material that doesn't leach into the water. I have four and highly recommend them. I've heard that Camelbaks can leave a funky taste... Check out source-military * com. Browse to "Stand Alone Hydration" and you'll see the specific bladders. The top clip slides off for super thorough cleaning and drying.
