I have a movie idea I need someone to send to Shane. The plot would be similar to the Prince and the Pauper or "Dave" with Kevin Kline. Shane plays the president of the US - he's a stand-up comedian who got elected Trump-style as the country is collapsing, and once he's in office can't figure out how to solve anything. He's trying too hard to keep everything together and keep people happy, and spirals into a health crisis where he can't perform the duties of the office anymore. His chief of staff (Matt) hatches a plan to replace him with a lookalike so the voters don't know what's going on. The guy they find has Down Syndrome (BIG REVEAL). DS President proceeds to turn the country around by running on pure instinct and bumbling into solutions like Mr. Magoo.
