Do I have to have a public sql server for this or can I make querys through chatgpt on my locally hosted sql server?

Our company is doing data analytics services for financial institutions. We are really impressed by the plugin, and using this can save us tons of time. We have access to very large customer database, but since its sensitive data, we do have concerns about the privacy and security of our customers. Will it be ideal if we connect our database with Noteable? Will the data be safeguarded? What are the security norms?

Noteable is SOC2 compliant so your data is safe in the app. However, when you use ChatGPT a small amount of your data (a few rows as well as statistical summaries) are sent to OpenAI. So if you want to work with sensitive data, you can work against a mock version of your database and then change the code in the app to point at your actual database when you've gotten your notebook in the shape you want. If you want more support, your organization can reach out to us for a managed deployment: noteable.io/enterprise/
