I always liked the Jimny. If you go on tradecarview you can get the real thing delivered for fairly cheap. Just remember it has to be 15 years old to come across the pond. Thanks for the awesome video Gerry. I also noticed there was 3 engine sizes. U suppose we could steal the motor out of the wendigo and cram it in that little Jimny with a 3s. Tires wouldn't last very long but it would be some fun watching it go.

Well let me think......540 stock motor, brushless motor 540 size, 26turn stock, 5400kv brushless oh hell tires are cheap!!🤣🤣🤣🤣 just kidding not yet, I hear it's pretty peppy as is. Paints drying tonight will start reassembling tomorrow and give it a rip!!

Great video. I still have it in my wishlist at Amain. 😩 I am torn between the this little Jimny you reviewed and the RC4WD Gelande II RTR w/Cruiser body. I am also a Suzuki guy, I have a real 2001 Suzuki Grand Vitara I use as a daily driver, but it is very capable off-road as well. Anyway, you just got a new subscriber! Keep up the great work. I was waiting on a review on the little Jimny in English, even though I know Spanish. 😅

Welcome felsen!! So glad you joined up😁😁 having both trucks I can understand your pain!! The cruiser is just so scale but very big!! The jimny is just so much fun and the body also looks great. I have to admit though I think at this point I have driven the jimny way more, never having a mst rig I've been quite pleased with it. I have been waiting for amain to have the mst fj45 back in stock so I can try another mst😃😃 thank you again and glad I speak english!! (Kind-of) Gerry

I like that little truck. I want to buy a samurai to pull behind a motorhome when I retire.And Alaska is one of are destinations, hopefully.But that won't be for twelve years or so. Waiting to see what you do with it.

Great review and awesome looking truck. Always curious when I see an MST truck or review. I have seen quite a few of the front mounted motor (CFX) models used with the different hard body "wraaangler"s. Yes, I do have to admit I have a Jeep build on my build wish list. PS Sorry for the late comment my internet has been wonkier and slower than Grandma, but hell, shes 98.

Nice review Gerry! Thanks for the good video, might need to pick on up. Love the ingenuity with your logo!! Excellent way to add it and no editing. Editing can be a huge pain.

Hey Gerry, I love the look of the new Jimny! Looks kinda like a mini g-wagon.. and they are really capable little trucks! Seen a couple vids on here of it taking on a range rover vouge! And the big guy got stuck while the little one powered through.. (i was thinking about buying a 1:1 jimny at one point) It deff looks scale next to the defender! But that ford would dwarf it in real life.. While watching this, i was thinking , be cool to do a little friendly detailing competition with a cheaper rig like that! Perhaps get a few of us little guys involved.. would you be up for doing something like that?

Almost done, I for one would love to see a real one😁😁 that is part of the reason I got it, almost everything I have is more like modified offroad rigs, this is more stock with a capable chassis!! I can't wait to get it out😁😁 oh and you know iam up for some detailing!!

Hey ron!! You made me go look, it makes the cr12 look small! Cr12 is shorter, narrower, and alot shorter. The big tires make up for the width. But the mst does appear to be a 10th scale!

MST is coming out with a LR Discovery in June! That's on my wish list for sure. The J45 body I have from them is out of sight in the detail department, Really well made but expensive but you get a ton of bits. A good value. Ton of bang for the buck as they say. I am also wondering if a D90 body would fit on that chassis?

I wanted the fj45 but it's been out of stock for a while!! I know a rc4wd d90 is way to big, which is strange since it's small compared to other trucks! The wheelbase alone is over 1inch longer

@@gerrysoldguyreview i just extended the links. you can adjust it to every length you want. i put a d110 hardbody on it. i later build my own links. brass tube with 3mm inner diameter. stick a m3 threaded rod trough and turn the 3mm rod ends on. so far it still works. thats also a reason why i like the mst super basic 4 link chassis. you can easy extend all bits and pieces to make it longer or shorter.

A little late to the party but I just got the coupon email from Amain and was thinking of getting the Axial Capra but then I stumbled on this one, I have two Axial Sc10s, a CrossRC Demon and Gmade jeep and R1 but I don't have a little truck yet and I could use one. Been watching a few of your videos and I believe you have talked me into it. lol
