I'm sad that the old line isn't here anymore as it made use of Dark Fusion. Now it doesn't feel as good but nice to have in deck if you draw Gold in your starting hand.

It is very strange imo. A lot of hands can play through the craziest of handtraps, others lose to 1-2, naturally. It's just interesting that this deck can really suffer from the ash problem in some games but be the most oppressive deck in others

Something a lot of chimera plays and i personally have been enjoying in this a lot more even after the one card aerial eater engraver beatrice legal no longer being legal is cross sheep just because you have lines where you can just make necro-equip and revive your mirror a lot of the time. I personally am still on patchworks with book of eclipse/talents/ drnm (still works better than droplets even with the loss of otk) etc board breakers because of how detrimental playing through a wave king caesar is rn....Also helps make aerial eater in some cases and to gas through boards slightly easier especially since you don't have as much bait with lacrima.

On the final play with the summon of Big Winged, you could instead summon out another Gazelle and fuse that into Chimera King, getting a handrip and setting up a summon from banishment on opponent's turn while also not locking yourself into fusions.

I feel like you need to be playing cross out designator since this deck loses so hard to single hand traps. Not to mention droll actually shutting the entire deck down.

I was still playing the branded package instead the fiendsmith cause I don't like to spent that amount of money on shiny cardboard, but konami hates me and now I don't know how to replace it...

Brother man I feel you. I just put in 2 thrusts in place of the other branded fusions and adjusted my extra deck. Also running edge imp chain as well as crossout in my build

If you wanna keep the branded package, put in springans kit, it's a level 4 beast so searchable with berfomet. You can also play 1 aluber and 2 branded opening to search branded fusion. It's not ideal but helps you keep playing the branded engine.

I made this a going 2nd deck & been killing the meta. Like tombox said, change of heart & mind control is stupid good rite now. Raigeki is ridiculous along with super polly & my personal fav. Lava G & Alpha mix. Nothing they can do but cry.

Melodious is next best after Branded nerf IMO. Can't make Appo anymore, but you can set up an omni and an IP or Larz before going into the chimera engine.

Definitely think this is one of those "really busy, didn't have time to innovate" videos. I appreciate the attempt, but the deck has way more potential than the list you shared. I'm talking about playing through droll, ash, imperm and Nib and ending on Caesar and tons of follow-up.

Ash I can play through, droll without Beatrice I lost the line… where it was 3 disruptions, without lacri adding back Engraver I lost my ability to add tract. Which hurt the dark fusion lines

​@@MSTTV The reason I've personally dropped the edge imp package is because it bricks and plays into droll. I've found the key to playing through multiple interruptions, especially Droll, is being able to get multiple bodies on board as easily as possible so that you have ways to go into Moon and continue through the Fiendsmith line that plays through Droll. Cards like Apprentice obviously help, but you really need more. That's why I've opted to run Fenrir and Spell Card "Monster Reborn" to have 9 cards that = a free body for link plays, discard fodder, to easily bring back cards like Wanghu or Diabellze (which will have live effects at the start of your opponent's turn), or to provide valuable disruption. I also would recommend considering Necroquip, Aerial Eater and Muckracker, as they offer a strong pivot for those games where you get hand trapped to death.

playing 6 HT's with patchwork felt wrong. Just go in on pseudo breakers + patchwork or max HT's and cut PW package

Agreed. Dont like the Extra Deck. No Muckcracker, Cross-Sheep or S:P. 2 Guardian Chimera is wrong in such a tight Extra when you can shuffle it back with Sequentia on your 2nd turn. Main Deck Handtrap Lineup not good. Rather Boardbreaker like Book of Eclipse which is crazy good in Fusion decks. Wanghu in the Main isnt good. Dark Fusion is trash and either cut Foolish for less cards, a 3rd Bystial or a 3rd M-Knight. I am doing really well last format and this format with 3 BoE, 3 Droplet, 3 Talents and 3 Bystials. This deck can play through the weaker boards now without Apo and Beatrice just with engine extremely well.
