Malik Hall is a special dude. Off the court and on. He’ll be one of the great Spartans for sure.

Well said. Adversity builds character. This young man is put together very well. I liked him before, even more now. He’ll do well in the game of life, also.

In many ways, this is worse than if his dad had died - it has to be hard for him to deal with it, and he does so, so well. This is what makes Izzo's program so great - they get great people. Not necessarily always the superstar athletes but guys who will dig down deep when times are hard to find a way to win. I would like to say that I am proud of him, but I can't because I had nothing to do with what he is - but I am proud that he chose the university I did and represents it so well. But he should be proud of himself as his parents obviously are proud of him.

I can relate to Malik and his family. I take care of my Mama Bear and it's hard. But I'm grateful that she picked me to take care of her.

This is what makes Tommy Izzo and MS so special. The willingness to go far beyond Basketball into what life is really all about. A Spartan and a Yooper!

Now THAT is a strong woman. Not these loud, yelling, swearing individuals protesting up and down the streets. Thank YOU Julie Hall for raising such an amazing young man. Wonderful to see.

My Mom got dementia, she raised 7 kids! One day she looked at me as I was visiting and said "you know I had 7 kids" I replied "I know Mom I'm one of them" but she did not remember me and that's OK because she was safe & as a son that is important. Hand Salute to the Hall Family
