Does the MT 1501 come with thread on the bobbin? I have a few empty bobbins but none with thread on it. I wasn't sure if I add the thread to the bobbin myself? I just got my machine on Wednesday :)

Hi Katrina! Congrats on this great step. You receive a bunch of prewounded ones with the starter kit, the empty ones are metallic bobbins.

i have the same question, but i have looked all over every box that came with the machne and toolbox and I have no rewound ones at all. what do i buy to replace that?? is ther a cetain brand or type i have to get?? @@ricomatv

There is only one bobbin a the time and one white bobbin can be used for all your color changes. If you are making FSL, then the bobbin color should match the thread color.

the speed of my Ricoma tc 1501 machine does not exceed 650 rpm

Depending on what type of file you are running or stitch for that matter the machine may self regulate the speed. For simple run stitches it will go at a full 1200. For some complex fills and satins, it may slow down. If this is not the case for you, Please contact the service department so they can have a look.
