Have fun on Rainier this weekend. Hopefully you get somewhat clear conditions up there. There will be members of Powderchasers hopefully chasing powder throughout the Northwest all winter! Follow us on Instagram and Facebook to know when we are out your way. We at Powderchasers all snowboard and we love doing it in the PNW where it's steep and deep!

No. And I know we should and there's no price on safety/life but those damn things are expensive...

@@snowboard-en yeah dude. Where was that line? I am a baker local but I haven’t gone past the elbow. Is that out towards tabletop mountain?

At minute 1:24 if you look at that flat ridge with the mound in the middle, that is called Table Mountain where parts of the movie Deer Hunter was filmed, on the other side (south side) of Table Mountain sits Mt Baker. On their descend Mt Baker is to their right/south, Mt Baker ski area is directly in front/east of them and to their left/north is the Canadian border. Several years ago myself and a couple friends made the hike and found a great frontside hit, so we hit it and hiked it for a couple hours. I can remember seeing guys hiking the Herman when we first started boarding at Baker in 1985 and thinking how crazy that was to break trail all the way up to the top, but it really wasn’t as bad as I’d thought. After hours of playing around we finally decided to make our bluebird powder turns to the bottom, that was one of the few times we actually had a video camera (way before GoPros) and got some good footage.
