It’s a beast mate well done. South ridge may be the “easier” way up but it’s bloody long and steep regardless

Did the exact same trip last saturday, my pack was 17kg! , camped at the jungle, did east summit but was clagged in only a few glimpses from the summit , river crossing was deep too, took us about 4 plus hours rocks were wet and slippery heaps of ticks too legs still sore a week later😂
