We got great experience at Mt Buller 3D2N. We started our journey on the bus from Mansfield Victoria. It took about one hour to get to the Mount Buller. Just three hours' drive from Melbourne. If you are driving your own car, you must carry diamond pattern wheel chains from Mansfield - irrespective of weather conditions. Wheel chains can be hired or bought
at Mansfield, Merrijig, or Mirimbah. It's required for safety. And you will be directed to a car parking space. After checked in, We catch the bus
to the Village to get some informations. It took about 3 to 5 minutes,
depends on your accomodate located. The Mt Buller Village is situated picturesquely at the heart of the mountain. With over 300 hectares of skiable terrain, who love skiing, Mt Buller is the perfect place to do it. Wide range of skiing and snowboarding for every ski level. The resort features a world-class Ski and Snowboard School, three terrain parks designed for all skill levels. At an altitude of 1.805 metres, the Buller mountain's longest run at 2.5 kilometres, with an average snow cover of one to two metres.The coldest month is July with an average maximum temperature of 8°C (47°F).August tops the wettest month list with 118mm (4.6in) of rainfall.The Mt Buller summit is one of Victoria's top sunset and sunrise viewing spots.With approximately 19 lifts, Mt Buller has the largest lift network in Victoria, including thirteen chairlifts (three of which are high speed detachables). Mt Buller has a Snow-factory, just amazing!That they can assure all the guests can skiing and snowboarding or other activities during winter time.” The resort has two toboggan parks, complete with their own snowmaking machines to keep everyone happy during winter. I enjoyed feeling the snow, sightseeing lifts, doing many different activities such as snow ice-cream, snowballs, snowman, volcano, snow painting,... Especially, love doing toboggan, super fun.
The breakfast buffet at Motel open at 7:45am, the food was great, and the staffs were lovely.
