This song is such a trip for me. I remember listening to mt Eden way back when I was a teen. I remember specifically being 15 years old, I had fallen out with an ex of mine n was drinking quite heavily for a while. I was staying in Tybee island by the ocean at the time N would play this song, still alive and few other mt.eden tracks on repeat alot. I'm now almost 25. That ex I was so hurt over died just a few years ago n I myself am in such a different place. Really just a trip to look back on. So much good and bad nostalgia. Life is such a rollercoaster.

8 years since we broke up and this is the first time I've been able to listen to this song because it still stings so much. I miss her everyday. Wtf is wrong with me? Lol. Who gets choked up 8 years after a break up? 8 years and 3 relationships later feels like a lifetime ago. I didn't cheat but I still messed everything up and we both stopped trying. What I wouldn't give to go back and know then what I know now. I don't usually pour my feelings out in KZbin comment sections but tonight I am. When I said she'd always have a place in my heart i didn't know how much it would become a burden. SJL is embedded in my heart and I can't shake it no matter how hard I try.
