MT Hood Summit: Boy Scout Chute (4K)

In late January, I climbed the Boy Scout Chute (also known as Ice Fall Chute). This is a technical variation of the south side routes which goes up a steep and narrow chute almost directly above the Hogsback. I found it in great conditions, with about 80-100 ft of 60-80 degree ice. Probably the best ice climbing I've done so far on Hood!
