It breaks my heart to see these cemeteries is such disarray. Great video. God bless the volunteers working on it.

I can't imagine trying to get the huge root systems out near the grave sites. All they can do is small section by small section at a time. All that could have been prevented :-( God bless the volunteers, indeed!

That place is huge, thankfully the volunteers are trying. It must have taken years of lack of maintenance to get to that state.

My grandparents were buried there. My mother had them exhumed & relocated to a cemetery in South Jersey. Also, my mother had a brother who died at birth. He was buried in Mt Moriah around 1936. Sadly, I don't know the location of the grave.

Hopefully it will all get cleared out one day. That's a lot of work. Kudos to the volunteers.

Thanks for the video, my mother, grandmother, grandfather and a few uncles are still buried there. Mom was the last in the family to be laid to rest there in 1956. That plot of graves is within about 40 feet or so of where Betsy Ross was buried B 4 they moved her to her home on Arch Street. I was last there about 18 or 20 years ago and the flag pole (no flag of course) was still there at that time. Hundreds of markers were pushed over by vandals at that time, my mothers too. I Hope there is a special place in hell for all of them.

I'm so sorry! I agree with that special place. People do dumb stuff, but disrespect something like that...there's no words.

I would think that descendants of those who have passed away would have been seeing to it that this cemetery's condition didn't get out of control. Around my area they are all well maintained. Not sure if the money is funded by the county, state or who ever. But it's looking good at the cemetery you are visiting. Thanks for sharing.
