The Mount of Olives is located just opposite the Temple Mount on the east side of Old City Jerusalem.
Historical Background
1. The Mount of Olives has played a significant role in the Bible.
2. It is from where Christ ascended back to heaven.
3. It is where Christ, along with all believers, will return to at Christ’s second coming.

Me too! Except after quite a bit of study, I'm not so sure I would get baptized in the Jordan as it mostly is waste water and saline now from surrounding countries dumping into it. So does it also mean that the prophecy that Jesus will return to the Mount of Olives in the chapter of Acts failed? Because Zechariah says that the Mount of Olives will split in half, does this mean that the Mount of Olives will not be bombed by artillery bombs and atomic bombs? Im reading some of these comments and alot of them are great , as for the ones that arent , i just pray for their hearts but it’s definitely a depiction of how he was treated as he walked that path from the garden of gethsemane.
